Hmm..well, I personally think Demogorgon stands on its own. There is a possibility for a sequel as far as the ending went. But I say, if it's not broke....don't fix it! One of the best books that Brian has written...and well, all of his books are in that category! LOL!

I agree with Emaleth. The ending does leave itself open to the possibility of a sequel( hope that's not a spoiler!) but I'm not sure if the Master=Brian Lumley would want to go down that road with that story line. Leave it up to him I say. :)

And by the way. I just finished that book last month. Definitely worth the read.
