The KeoghCon 2K2 Raffle.
I’ve been looking at the box of books and etc. that we’ve put aside for the raffle at KeoghCon Two. It’s already a way superior collection compared with the first raffle, and there are several nice items still to come.
But here is a list of the main items so far:
</font> A big handful of Paul Ganley’s award-winning (twice World Fantasy Award) Weirdbook, each mint copy – and there are many different issues – with a signatured story by yours truly. </font></font> Two signed, mint sets of Caliber Comics aborted The Source comic. </font></font> Enough promotional jackets for Necroscope: Avengers (the American edition) that every collector will get at least one – and I’ll gladly sign them. </font></font> A signed, mint, proof copy of Beneath the Moors and Darker Places, and if you’ve seen one or two of these go on Ebay you know what they’re worth. </font></font> A signed, absolutely mint copy of The Horror at Oakdeene, as issued by Arkham House 25 years ago. </font></font> A slip-cased, deluxe Ganley edition of Sorcery in Shad – this is No. 126 of 300 signed by myself and by artist Jim Pitts. </font></font> A slip-cased, deluxe Ganley edition of Iced on Aran, 125 of 300, signed by myself and artist Stephen Fabian. </font></font> A COMPLETE signed trade paper set of the TOR Books Crow Saga: six big novels in three matching volumes! </font></font> A COMPLETE, mint, hardbound signed set of the Necroscope: Invaders trilogy, all three of the TOR Books editions, jackets by Bob Eggleton. </font></font> A signed, mint, hardbound TOR Books edition of Beneath the Moors and Darker Places. </font></font> Two mint, signed copies of Deadspeak in TOR Books limited, hardbound edition. </font></font> A mint, signed copy of Necroscope: Resurgence in hardbound from TOR. </font></font> Two mint, signed, hardbound Maze of Worlds, from TOR. </font></font> Two mint, signed, hardbound Necroscope: Invaders from TOR. </font></font> Half-a-dozen signed, mint, mixed trade paper editions from TOR, including several Psychomechs. </font></font> Various foreign editions much sought after by collectors. </font></font> A complete SET of the FOUR British edition Invaders (inc. the twice-named Invaders). </font></font> Half-a-dozen other mint, signed, Brit. editions. </font></font> At lease fifteen TOR paperbacks, all signed and mint. </font></font> And a framed set of Paul Stanczykowski’s paintings in miniature, mounted on a black background. Only six of these In The World, and this one, signed and numbered, is in the raffle! </font>What’s more:
</font> TOR have promised us an entire dump bin of books, so even if you’re a loser, NO ONE will go away empty-handed. The books in the dump will be set aside, free, at lease one copy for anyone who bought tickets but failed to win a prize. </font></font> Now, there will be other late inclusions in this list, but currently the value exceeds £900.00. We’re only going to sell up to 1200 tickets at 25p each, which means six hundred pounds worth of gear will go for free, literally! </font></font> You collectors: I don’t think you’ll want to miss out on this one. </font>All for now-–
