I've made arrangements with the hotel for next year. Just give me a few days to recuperate and I'll get an e-mail off to you with all the details.

For those of you who didn't attend this year but might want to next year:

I'll get the web information done as soon as possible and pass it on to Shadoe.

The more advance notice we can give everyone the better.

That's great. Count me in. I plan to make a longer weekend of it next year. The venue was brilliant. So friendly. The bar staff were fantastic. Especially as they had to deal with all the undead excesses.

Yay! I promised I'd be there next year and I'm a gal of my word (I'd be there promise or not). Makes the post-con sadness a little easier to bear knowing that we can do it all again next year.

The venue was superb, Torqay is a lovely place and the hotel staff were great, the only down side was the size of the pool room, very small indeed but it made for a very amusing game!

Okay guys. I can tell you that we couldn't get October 1, but then I did say on the program it depended upon hotel availablity. And I must say I was surprised.

When Sue and I looked at next year's book it was already taken. So we had to move it a week forward. It will be Saturday September 24.

It was that or the end of October ... and as you can see that date was definitely unacceptable.

As soon as I can get myself as back to normal as possible ... I'll send you all an email with the new rates. Also we can only have the hotel for Friday, Saturday and Sunday night.

But ... not to worry ... beginning of the year ... when I know the hotels and B&Bs have their 2005 rates I'll hit the bricks and get some alternates for those of you who want to arrive earlier or leave later.

I'll try my best to get that email off to you all tomorrow. The sooner I get you the information the sooner you can book your rooms. grin.gif

But please wait until I contact you before you book your room.

I have to go now ... can't understand why I'm so tired... ;)

I plan to be in a new job by then hopefully drawing full time. I had a horrendous day at work, plus I had a bad cold. I am ready to start the next chapter of my life. This chapter will contain money galore, beautiful women, absolute (rude)filth and lots and lots of painting and drawing...all at the same time. i'm gonna get Brian to write it. sorry everyone, for not attending. Me and natasha (eeyore)had paid and we were set on going but the money wasn,t there for travel and the hotel. We were even ging to get an overdraft to try and go but we left everything waaaaaay tooooo late. We are gutted and the whole weekend she has been moping around the house cause she missed yous all.
