Good grief. I can't believe where all the time has gone. I've still got lots of work to do yet but I'm really looking forward to this year's con...

Good on ya Helm!

In case any of you were worried ... we knew the Koszowski's were coming ... but today I got confirmation that their flight has been booked ... I have seen the actual paperwork. So start boxing up all the stuff you want signed by Allen. You will have plenty of time to get Allen's signature. Allen and Chris are getting in on Thursday and leaving on Monday. So plenty of time to get signatures there. I understand The Lupine Lord is going to have to bus all his stuff down...

Any of you who have any German editions might want to box those up as well to get Frank to sign them for you. And I know it's elsewhere on the board but Helmi Sigg will be attending as well. Despite that he lives in Switzerland he's loaded with Brian Lumley books! Frank & Helmi should be getting in on Friday but I don't know yet when they will be leaving. I would imagine Monday morning but I can't be sure. Soon as I know, you'll know.

Keith & Jane Grant-Evans are getting in on late Friday afternoon and Nick Austin will be arriving on Friday as well ... they will be leaving on Sunday.

Shadoe has intentions of getting in on Thursday and leaving on Monday.

Hey all ... anytime you want to start getting those memberships in ... you will make me happy.

And have I got news for you. I already have one person who has pre-ordered raffle tickets. And he did that about a month ago. He's not planning on getting caught out. The earlier you preorder those the best variety of numbers you get. And it's very much appreciated. It makes the con more enjoyable for me if I'm not ripping up tickets during the con. It was quite nice last year because the tickets sold out at 12:00 noon on the Saturday. So it's been decided that all tickets must be purchased by 12:00 noon on Saturday this year. Anyone who wants to preorder now can do so at silky@brianlumley.com using the subject: KCV RAFFLE TICKETS. I want to thank any of you in advance for making my life easier by preordering. And as always, just because you preorder doesn't mean you can't buy any at the con. And you don't have to pay for them right now. Go on ... make my day. grin.gif

I wasn't going to do an autograph card this year but decided to do one anyway. There are lots of folks to get to sign it. Thing is after all the past cons I never got one signed for Brian and myself. This year we'll have to pass ours around to get everyone to sign. This is our fifth anniversary after all!

If everyone shows up that says they are coming ... there's going to be approximately 40 or 41 of us. Yee haw, the biggest ever...

Important Note: If anyone changes their email addy please be sure to let me know or you'll miss out on any update posts I send or the program when it comes out. The preliminary program will go out about a week or two before the con ... but you must have paid your membership to receive it.

Several of you will find that you have been allocated a different room number than you originally had when you booked with Sue. I have had to change several rooms to accommodate guests or those travelling long distances across the pond. Next year should be no problem because I'll be handling the hotel bookings right from the start.

Whew ... that just about covers things for now.

I am so looking forward to this!

Hopefully I'll be sending mine and Joanne's money soon, I've been saving!

Real hip? Well, he's a bit young for an artificial one...

Looks like a great line up of guests for this year - but isn't it always!?

I'm trying to think of a new hair-do especially for a certain freelance editor - he says every time he sees me its different and I don't want to disappoint him ;)

Have you ever shaved it all off?

i should hook you up with my sons, they had come up with some real originals in their day.

how about this one for you, spike it, then shave the center out, so when you bend over all you see is a spiked ring.
