Okay, Brian has picked out the first panel.
This year because we are only having two panels due to the Koszowski interview ... we can't do the boy/girl panels ... but there's always next year.
So we will need a few more suggestions.
Panel One: Can a Great Vampire ever find redemption (without death)? ... Most imaginative death. ... What would you buy a Vampire Lord/Lady for Christmas?
Naturally Rixy will be on this one as it was his suggestion and also the Lupine Lord will be on this one as well. Any takers? Tops, DC, Pink Panther, Silver?
So that's one panel taken care. More suggestions please. I'm racking my brain as well ... and it hurts now...

I'm fine with taking part but if anybody new would like to partake in a panel, or anyone who's not so new but hasn't done one before and would like to I'd gladly stand aside for them...

Thanks guys! I think newbies tend to worry about what to say on a panel ... but if they'd just get a drink or two down the hatch before hand they might not have any problems ... possibly. ;)
Now all we have to do is decided on the second panel...

I remember my first panel... the thing newbies should remember (to be on a panel) is that no one expects too much of you - you need to enjoy - that's what we're all there for, and no one worries about people making gaffs or mistakes - I've made enough myself ;) Last year being my best ever gaff - not telling all the people on my panel my intentions before the panel, it worked out though!!! And also Keith Grant-Evans is a law unto himself!

Pink Panther? Are you referring to me, perchance?

I'm game

GG, no I was referrng to Mr. Pink Shirt. But iffin you'd like to be the Pink Panther that's fine by me!
Yeah, no problem being a newbie. Once you get up there with those who have gone before and get started it's a piece of cake. If you fumble a bit, so what, this is all for fun.

BTW, GG, I know you are shy (??) about these things but you are more than welcome to be on any of these panels. That goes without saying ... but I just said it didn't I?

Hey there, I am a said newbie! I'm Richard from Cwmbran, and thi'll be my first con, w00t!
One question (this may sound lame, but) what is a "panel"??

A panel consists of six folks ... or more, and they sit at a table in front of the rest of our group. They then give their views on the said topic, of which the first one you already see above.
And the rest of us listen and sometimes chime in and give our two cents. Usually at the end questions get asked if time allows.

I see, sounds fun.
How about some topics like: Your favorite Ferenczy. Which ESP talent you'd like to have, and why.
Or something alil wacky like: How much damage would a Wamphyri with a lightsaber do? ;)
Theres my two cents, as it were.

Hi Trojan, I'm Gaz's mate Debs (the ticket gal!).
And Silky, I'm much pinker then The Helm... and I bet I own a lot more pink clothes!
I'd like to be on the Christmas presents panel... been doing some thinking, am having ideas...!

Yes, GG, you are always in the pink. And indeed you are always more vibrant that The Helm.
But I always say "If you look good in something ... wear ... it regardless of the color ... and if nobody likes it ... b******s!"
Some have said I look dead in red, but Brian quite likes it on me. But then the dead bit's okay ... just makes me more suitable for the horror genre. grin.gif

I'm happy to be on a panel, but am also happy to step aside if any new guys want a go, up to you!

Oh and by the way, you mostly know my oppinion on the colour pink but just in case the only place in the entire world that pink looks good is on Debs and nowhere else.

have to agree with Silver. I know only two people who look fantastic in pink, and that is Debs and my friend Jelly!

Okay, I can take no more panelists for this particular panel. Not all of you will make it but I'll give the names over to Brian and he can choose.
I thank you all for volunteering to be a victim ... eh, panelist. We want to suck your blood...
I currently am racking my brain for another panel...

Okie Dokie ... I've spoken to Brian and it's been decided that everyone will be on a panel.
Once we know what the other panel will be Brian will place everybody in their best location. There will be six folks on a panel and one or two of you may be asked to do both ... I know some of you won't mind.
Of course, once the other panel is decided then we'll know what's what.
For those that don't know ... a panel consists of six panelists. One of which is a moderator. The moderator keeps the pace of the discussion going. The moderator is usually someone who has previously been on panels before so newbies, don't worry, you won't be a moderator.
All for now...
