Well if Amazon doesn't change their date, I might just have to convert!!
I give it a week before I cancel and order from B&N.

Got my copy of Deadspeak from my local Barnes and Nobles!!! :D As you all can guess the cover is a smaller version of the Tor paperback. Just like Necroscope and Source. Looks great in my collection but I still prefer the UKversion of Deadspeak that I have ***thank you again Goth Girl!*** ;) :D

I think masinger said it would be around this time next year but I can't find the thread...
It might be at this time 2003 but I'm almost positive she said 2002.

Oh wait...here's another one (http://www.brianlumley.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic&f=1&t=000258&p=) that's a little less vague.

before I lost the ability to walk (at least 6 weeks of hell until I can walk again) I saw the 'new' dead speak HC in FP on new oxford Street... anyone want to buy me a copy? Nah, just kidding... already have the Kinnel version from years and years ago... although if I could get off my backside and get the others I might be persuaded!
January 14th, 2002, 12:55 PM
I cancelled my order because I was told I shouldn't buy myself any of the books I really wanted around Christmastime.
The one I really wanted, was really counting on, wasn't under the tree. :( It wasn't available at the mall so it was passed over for a new Koontz book... which is great. :(
So I ordered it again... and it was sent to my old address (I really changed it, dammit, I did!)
So now it's in LIMBO with UPS somewhere between here and One Amazon Way in... Kentucky?.
I keep telling myself, "Maybe today..."

Okay N8, you're going to realy hate me now ;)
I met Brian & Silky (and the gang) at the Fantasy centre in London last night, and bought 3 Ganley limited editions in boxes......and as I was happily wallking off, the shop owner called me back, and asked me if I wanted his Deadspeak (Tor version) with all the promotional paperwork that went with it's release :D ...as you might guess it is now sitting on my shelf (with the added bonus of Brians signature)..Sorry M8 :(

Aw c'mon man... N8 don't H8 you, M8!! N8 thinks that's GR8! (Okay, maybe a little jealous, but no H8 smile.gif )
It's already L8 but it should be here sometime soon. It will arrive in a small CR8 to the mailbox by my G8. But I don't know the D8.
I'll leave it to F8, I guess.
But I'll say this... Amazon will no longer R8 as high as before. That'll teach me to procrastiN8.
I've been pulling the hair from my P8 just trying to S8 my impatient nerves!
Well, that's what's on my PL8. :( Guess I'll just W8.
January 26th, 2002, 10:02 AM
Ok, am I the only one disturbed by N8's very proficient use of the number 8? tongue.gif
And deano - talk about luck! smile.gif
January 26th, 2002, 11:38 PM
