Hi everybody,

I used contribute as AndyB. I'm sorry but the latest installment has left me numb. Let me explain, I have read the Titus Crow stories in Compleat Crow and other books (by the way I think they are excellent stories). The Hero stories are also great, here is my gripe (for want of a better word). I feel short changed with this latest offering - I feel Brian is being cajolled by the "Fans" which I feel has made him produce an inferior collection, I hope I'm not coming across to harsh because I am a big fan of Brian's work, but I would love to have read a book of completely new work by the master.

Personally I thought the book was terrific first I got my Harry Keogh fix but more importantly I got a taste of books I've never really gave any thought to reading before because me and I'm sure many others only really know the Master through his Necroscope series, that's why I feel that this book was worth it because it's opened the doors to new worlds, characters and adventures for me that I otherwise may of over looked and I've already started adding Titus crow and David Hero books to my collection.

Nice one to Tops for encouraging me to read the other short stories in the book and a special big up yourself to the Master for writing them in the first place. :D

Let me firstly say that I cannot see Brian Being "Cajolled" by his fans into doing anything he was not 100 percent happy with.

I always thought the idea of this offering was to bring together stories based on the "Hero's" created by Brian in one book and IMHO he has done this. Yes, the Titus Crow and Hero/Eldin stories have been published before but they may not have been read by everyone.

I am sorry to hear anyone say they feel short changed or they feel the book is inferior in any way. I for one was more than pleased with the content of this book. I was expecting a good read and Hey, I got one.
