When you re-read through the Necroscope Saga (as I know you do) in what order do you read them?
Do you go through them in the recommended order (as they were released), or now you know the plots do you read them in a roughly chronological order slipping The Lost Years in between Wamphyri! and The Source?

I still read em in the order they were published. I've been tempted to read them in chronoloigcal order, but never quite got round to it...

I read them in chronological order once, and almost forgot to read The Source. Oops.

I have read them in both, although I usually re-read them as they were published.

If I'm doing the whole series, I like to do them in chronological order, but quite often I pick one out at random (except Invaders, LOL!), especially if I want to cross-reference something for a newsletter article. I've been trying not to do that recently, as I want to go through the entire series from scratch again.

I did read them in chronological order once but prefere to do it in the order they were published. I think it fits better.

It's publication date for me. From #1 all the way to #13.
However, when I go on holiday I usually take The Source with me because that's my favorite ... it fact it's the book that brought Brian and I together ... now that's fantasy story in itself ... or should I say nightmare. :D !

Every time I re-read Necroscope 1 to 13 I do it like it's the first time, so I have to read them in the order they were published.
I feel that this is the only and definitive way to do it. smile.gif

I tend to read the novels in order of the publication.
But I have a question and for all the newbies that might not have seen this question on a thread from years ago..........
Does or has anyone ever done a Wamphryi "tree" so to speak from Shaitan on down?
I seem to remember someone mentioning that they were working one up but it never came about. :(

If I put my mind to it, I would want to do family tree of the Wamphyri. It wouldn't surprise me if Brian hadn't already done one himself though. hmm might look into doing one very soon,

I've just started Invaders, my first time reading them. Next time i think i'm gonna read them in chronological, i found it a bit confusing on the lost years trying to remember who Harry had given the true death to.
When u guys re-read them, do u find u can read them slower or are they still as unputdownable as the first time?

Sadly,I've read the Necroscope Ser.only once.
I don't get much time to read and i have a hard time keeping up with all the other books i wish to read. But WHEN i do i'm going to try chronological.

Always a bit of a slow start for me when I re-read them but once I get going on the Necroscope series I do tend to pick a frantic pace and by the time I get to the Vampire world trilogy it just seems a complete blur as I just can't help racing through the pages like my life depended upon it.

I'm a read them as they were published sort of girl.
Though I have gone through and just read the Vampire World Trilogy by its lonesome. As well as the E-Branch trilogy.
I'd just prefer to go from start to finish.
