NecroScope...

Hi Guys

When I was a younger guy I used to read 2000AD an older kids comic here in the UK.

I own and have read the all the Necroscope series of books (Necroscope, Vampire world, E-Branch, and lost year). I am a complete addict.

My question is this....

Did the Necroscope feature in 2000AD for a while? I am sure it did but as I was young I cannot be sure!

Can anyone help me out here?

he did'nt as he was already dead. it was nathan who appeared after 2000. hope this helps.

I remember reading 2000AD when I was in School so it was pre-1991.

I am sure they ran a short comic series of the Necroscope saga. I remember reading one of the stories back then and I distictly remember one of the Characters shouting 'WAMPHRYI'.

I only put two and two together much later when I read the excellent series, and then re-read, and re-read....

Hi Matt.

I was the artist on the comic adaptation of wamphyri. I'd also worked on a british comic called Toxic! around the 1990's. It may be that you have combined the two together. Welcome to the board by the way. Here's a couple of title pages for the three wamphyri comics I produced. It may jog your memory.
The Toxic story I produced was called Psycho Killer. It involved a zombie Gangster but no vampires.
2000ad did do a particularly fine vampire story called fiends of the eastern front. In which a group of Romanian vampires end up fighting for the russians against the Germans. Very good story with the Germans being the goodies for a change.

Woe woe pard-ner...for two cons running I've left our wookie friend (I really should make the effort to start calling him by his real name)quite alone as I saw how in demand his superb illistrations were but this year I'm defo first.

I mean come on I've been to three cons now and this will be my fourth, what special effort do you make hey, flying over an entire ocean whats that for a sacrifice it's not even in a different hemisphere to you for god sakes.
