I have just read the Source, and it seems like Vampires not created from Eggs can rebel against their Masters, while from reading Book 2: Wamphyri I had an impression that they are slaves to their creators.

But I assume that their Vampire powers can`t match those of true Lords? But they are also trully immortal?

Another problem: Julian Bodescu had great powers, while not being egg-son of Tibor, so half-Vampires are very powerful, am I right?

Simply put, when a thrall is created they are bound by fear to their master's bidding. As they become stronger and are given more and more of their master's essence, they can begin to develop a leech. Eventually, the leech matures and its nature changes the fear that binds the host to his master to jealousy and hatred, resulting in a desire to usurp.

That's why you gotta be careful who you vampirize and how much you give away!

And yes, blood-sons can be very powerful.

Janos was Feathers bloodson wasn't he? he was rather powerful in his own right now personally i thought he was rather pathtic by comparison to all the others before and after him...Yulian had more then blood though, but keep in mind he wasn't a true blood son thibor just gave him a lil of himself so yulian would know and remember him. but yulian never really was a thrall to thibor nor did he ever really know him. so thibor was never his master and yulian never rebeled. yulian was really twisted though...his mom, aunt, and cousin?? and what was that thing he created in the cellur?

the thing yulian created in the cellar was an attempt at metamorphisis. the was vampiric flesh and as such lusted after blood and "meat" but because it grew from the root of a tooth it had no brain and no will. only its instincts and its natural fear of its creator(the old saying i gave you life and can just as easily take it away).
