Fellow Lumlians...

I came across this on Ebay. But I've gone to the publisher's website and gotten all the relevant details along with the cover jpeg. You can pre-order these from the links below. And I've got mine on order.

Primal Darkness: The Gothic and Horror Art of Bob Eggleton

At The Printers

Bob Eggleton is an acclaimed science fiction, fantasy, and landscape artist. Winner of eight Hugo Awards and 11 Chesley Awards, his art can be seen on covers of countless magazines and books. Perhaps best known for his signature work with Brian Lumley on the Necroscope series, Eggleton does everything from dinosaurs to rocket ships.

Primal Darkness: The Gothic and Horror Art of Bob Eggleton features -- for the first time anywhere -- the complete collection of Necroscope covers, introduced by Lumley himself. Primal Darkness also includes Eggleton's Lovecraft-inspired Cthulhu pieces, as well as other monster, horrors, and things that go bump in the night.

You can also get an older one called ALIEN HORIZONS: The Fantastic Art of Bob Eggleton.

It's got a couple of unused paintings for Necroscope and some originals of altered paintings as well...

I'll definately be getting this one too. Thanks. smile.gif

Alien Horizons was published by Paper Tiger - they can be a bit of a bugger getting hold of at times but are well worth it for fans of fantasy art - be it dragons (a Bob Eggleton speciality), images of the Great Cthulhu or, as SwampBorn says, Necro-art...

Well, I got mine from EBAY (http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?cgiurl=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.com%2Fws%2 F&krd=1&from=R8&MfcISAPICommand=GetResult&ht=1&SortProperty=MetaEndSort&query=Bob+Eggleton).

There doesn't seem to be one up for auction right now besides an expensive signed edition...
