Brian Lumley's Freaks
By Brian Lumley
(Preorder -- not yet published)
Dust Jacket and interior Illustrations by Allen Koszowski
Limited: $35
Lettered: $150
This short collection gathers together some of the horror master's strangest stories -- tales of mutants, post-apocalyptic creatures that flee humanity to live in the wastelands and hug the shadows. Three of the stories are from long out of print collections not published in the United States, one first appeared in a small press magazine in the 1980s, and the last is appearing here for the first time.
Brian Lumley's Freaks is available from Subterranean Press in two editions:
Limited: 750 signed numbered hardcover copies
Lettered: 26 signed leatherbound copies housed in a handcrafted traycase
Contents:
</font> Introduction</font> In the Glow Zone</font> Mother Love</font> Problem Child</font> The Ugly Act</font> Somebody Calling</font>

Hey all,
Happy to report that FREAKS is at the printer. We should see copies sometime in October, a good month for mutants and things that hug the shadows, I think.
All best,
Bill

yeah that's the problem right now.. lots of traders are buying in bulk, and then selling on EBAY... I've had dealings with a few of them now, and they are great!
I would have gone straight to the publisher for this, but the saving, small though it is, is still a saving.

Yeah - Freaks arrived today - was a little worried as the postman force the item through the letter box (it was infact trapped halfway through). But the people I bought this off are even better at packing things than I am, which I was very happy about smile.gif
I'll share my new source with you all soon!

Oh to be so lucky to get a lettered copy of Freaks. My limited edition copy(only one i could afford at this time) arrived last Saturday safe and sound. Can't wait to read it. Just had conformation from Silky that my order for the Gainley collection has been accepted, and l have just used PayPal to purchase them. The only two that l need to complete it is Clock Of Dreams and In The Moons Of Borea(hopefully l'll have these by the end of next month).
Any idea as to when the limited/lettered edition of Necroscope will be available? As l pre-ordered it last December.
