Hi everyone,
I'm new to the boards but certainly not new to Brian Lumley's Necroscope series.
The first book I bought was Necroscope 3: The Source back in 1989 while still in high school. The cover just screamed out to me that I needed to pick it up and take it home.
Once I got through it I was wowed. After all it was the first really good 'new' take on vampires that I found to be interesting and fun to read. Needless to say that after that I was determined to read every book he wrote about Harry and over the years I have done so.
I have to say my favorite are the three books revolving around Nathan and Nestor mostly because I love Starside/Sunside so much.
I'm looking at my poor worn copies of the first five books (all paper back of course) and thinking maybe its time to start replacing them now that they are being reprinted.
Oh well, think I will go back to exploring the message board and hopefully soon start getting into discussions about the different books.

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. =)
I was looking over the topics on the Necroscope board and noticed there wasn't a lot of active threads except maybe the trivia thread. Maybe I should just go through and throw my 2 cents in about the various things there in order to get my feet wet. ;)
And as to your question Kenny, I'm currently rereading George R R Martin's A Game of Thrones so yeah, I hvave read some good books lately ;)

That's what you need to do Leah, just jump in with your 2 cents, that will also get threads moving again, sometimes.
As for the trivia threads, I would like to see MORE activity in these threads,I think the board needs more participation from new members, alot of people join but never post.

I'm certainly going to try to participate as much as possible! And hopefully next pay check be able to pay for full board access because I'd love to be more active than just the Necroscope folder because as of right now I don't know much about his other works and don't see any time in the near future to read anything beyond the pile of books already stacked up begging for a first read and those ones on the shelves pleading for a reread (be it a first reread or the tenth!).
So many books, so little time! ;)

Heh! I did see that on the board while shifting through old threads. I love that mostly because it's SO true.
