I'm looking into references made in 'The Complete Crow' by Brian Lumley. I find these to be very interesting indeed and anyone with knowledge of this book is urged to reply. I need specific information concering the story 'Lord Of The Worm', if anyone knows about the Numerological system he used to define his 'name and number'. You can contact me at andrewnbl@yahoo.com. Furthermore if anyone could help with an e-mail address of brian it would be appreciated.

I'm not real clear on what it is you're asking.
An example of the "orthodox system" is mentioned, as is a "different system" and the Hebrew system.
I found several numerology and astrology websites that contained more information than I cared to sift through. That stuff makes my head spin, which is why I'm glad Brian is often vague when it comes to such things.
But if you search "numerology" on your computer I think you'll find the three systems Brian uses as well as a number of others explained in depth.
If you're wondering about numerology as it relates to the Saracenic Rituals or the necromantic desires of Crow's employer, I'm sure that that's all fictional documents or rites, written as if they are in fact real to enhance the story and its believability, much like the Necronomicon...
The use of letters and journals, "real" documents, supposedly ancient and rare books, and believable organizations like the Wilmarth Foundation, are all clever writing tricks and traits that Brian obviously picked up from a guy named Lovecraft... I'm sure you've heard of him! smile.gif
