Or maybe I just see connections everywhere, since I'm so familiar with his stuff. ;)

Anyway, I saw a commercial for a new TV show where it sounded like this guy was a police detective who communicated with the dead to help solve murders. I couldn't find any info on it (and of course can't remember what the show was called). Anyone else see or hear of it?

While searching for it, I did come across this TV show: (Ghost Whisperer) http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0460644/combined

So am I crazy or are there more and more Lumlian-related things going on these days? lol

There are many aspects of television and literature which have been directly influenced by Mr. Lumley. I saw another one, it was on the movie "From Dusk 'Till Dawn-2" A vampire gets their head cut of and a cobra-like snake writhes up out of their neck-stump. Ever seen that one?

Ah, well ... but there's only one Harry Keogh and the dead don't stand still for it!

Thing is you can't copyright an idea ... so when a good one comes along everyone jumps on the bandwagon!

In light of the DaVinci Code/Blood-Line of the Holy Grail thing going on we'll see a UK high court ruling on how much you can go to protect an idea in literature (and just because they're both published by the same company any suggestion of driving up the sales of them both by getting media attention is purely coincidental!)

Then again there is that old publishing credo - Good authors borrow, great ones steal...

I think he'd been at the spirits - at least there were ghosts involved... ;)

Ghost Whisperer, Medium (not sure if this is even still on tv), and Supernatural are recent tv shows dealing with something somewhat Lumley relate. But no one is even close to being Harry Keogh. Ghost Whisperer is decent but I did not find any very interesting personally.

Is Dusk 'Till Dawn 2 even worth seeing? I have seen it at the video stores (straight to video) but Tarantino had nothing to do with it so I passed on it. It looked like a really cheap and cheesy sequal.
