Hello all, I guess I'm as green as it gets. I'm not only new to the message board but have only just this week finished my first Brian Lumley book, Necroscope. I'm cursing myself for not ordering the second one sooner, for now I must WAIT a few days for it to come in and be able to resume the series... a mistake I will not repeat! I feel as though I'm on the edge of a vast forest of discovery and can't wait to venture in deeper!

I started with Nec 3: The Source, when it first came out. So at least your starting at the beginning grin.gif

Man, it never ceases to thrill me when I see someone with so much ahead of them.

Of course it always gets me pissed with jealousy too, but...

Such is life. I think it should be a standing rule that no one is allowed to read the next book in the series for at least six months after finishing the one previous. C'mon, it's only half the time I waited! You'll savor each one that much more...

No? Okay... enjoy the ride. :cool:

Welcome! You are in for a treat. Each book keeps getting better. After you finish the Necroscope series be sure to check out his other books. I love everything I have read by Lumley.

You make a good point, Nathan, I should be glad I don't have to wait months for each new release like so many of you have done over the years. That being said, today I went out and bought Necroscope II, III, and IV. I can't belive I'm even sitting here typing instead of reading! Cheers -

Welcome Hempy, I was lucky enough to start at the beginning too many many years ago..that's why necroscope will always be my number one book....even though the rest just get better... Boy are you in for a treat !!! Enjoy!
