Do all of you from the British Isle let your gardens run wild or is that just what Brian wants us to think? tongue.gif

I have 2 houses at the moment (don't ask!) and they both have wild gardens. No one lives in my first house at the moment so I have an excuse there, but neither myself or my housemate at my 2nd house can be bothered so no excuse there!

I do enjoy gardening occasionally but no-where near enough to maintain a reasonably nice garden.

Our front garden is ok (because most of it is concreted except squares for plants and bushes), the back is like a jungle. I love gardening but just can't be bothered to do it so ours is definitely run wild!

It's so not cool, but I love gardening! I'm very house-proud, and to me the garden is another room, so I keep it under control, and am constantly buying new plants to make it pretty. I spend a lot of time out there in the summer, so it needs to be a pleasant place to relax.

I was just wondering. It seems every time Brian describes a house in the Necroscope series the garden has been left to grow wild, atleast those in the UK. ;)

Ha, I'd never noticed! Brian's own garden is lovely too smile.gif

Anybody wants to volunteer to cut my grass, feel free. Free drinks included!
Corner house so i've a front, side and back garden.
Just had the drive re-concreted at the back big enough for about 5 cars, we only have 2 grin.gif but it's a bit less grass to cut ;)
The cat seems to like the tall grass though smile.gif

My cats like it when I let the grass grow too... it's so cute to see a pair of black or tabby ears poking out of the grass! But they're out of luck as I have a day of gardening planned this weekend... weeding, mowing and planting.

I'm so rock 'n' roll!

Sideous, if only i lived a bit closer.
I love my garden especially seeing the enjoyment on my childrens faces as they play in it, we're away this Saturday for a weeks holiday and when we come back there is to be a new addition to our family, (no not that), a Blue Roan Spanial pup which my daughter has decided to call Harry. I had absolutly no input in the name, she chose it herself(but isn't it a great name). Now that is what a garden is for, oh and the odd barby

umm think that's just how brian has ended up writting the books, just uk gardens are a mess in his.

pretty much the same as everywhere really, some are jungles others aren't.

mine isn't but that's only because the parents do all the hard work, and I stand out there and pout!
