I got in from work this morning and tuned into watch some NHL (A habit I picked up in Canada) I put my Flames hockey shirt on and made my self comfortable with a six pack of Canadian, when on Ice a fierce fight errupted, the guy in Black(a Pittsburgh Penguin)punched the living daylights out of his opponent, the camera got a good close up, and there was pure evil in this Penguins eyes, and as he turned away from his beaten opponent, his name was clearly visible on his back.....FERENCE :eek:
Obviously he had tried to hide the fact that he was a Ferenczy, but he couldn't fool me.... :D
I mean to say Pittsburgh and transylvania are one and the same aren't they ?

This got me thinking, does anybody else know of any person famous who's name has appeared in one of Brian's books ? ;)

I think the executed Romanian Premier, Nicolae Ceausescu, might've been mentioned somewhere in the Necroscope series, or perhaps he was just alluded to. Maybe I'm imagining that though. He was a vampire... in real life I mean. smile.gif

The music of Ray Charles has been referred to, but can't remember whether in a book or a short story.

Aubrey Beardsley is also mentioned, in Wamphyri and a Titus Crowe short story (as well as "The Man Who Photographed Beardsley"!)

The thought has just struck me (ouch)... the last short story I mentioned would have been incredibly different had it referred to Peter Beardsley instead of Aubrey... urghhh! smile.gif

Whilst driving home this morning, I tuned into radio 5, the presenter was talking to a women who ran a esp style group, who have been hired by the FBI to track Bin Laden, and to precog any new threats.... :eek:
