Need to do some house cleaning around here after a couple of years. http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/smile.gif
If you have registered for membership with the board and have never posted a message - I need to ask why? I honestly am curious because you don't need to be a member to read the board, only to post.
In another preparation for the upgrade to the new version of the messageboard software, I will be removing memberships of those people that have zero posts and are more than 6 months past when they registered. This will be done on the first of March or so, giving people a week or so to get a post in, or e-mail me as to why they haven't posted.
I know that some members might have forgotten their password, so can't post, or just registered thinking you had to in order to read the board. This will fix both those problems. Forgotten password people can reregister and write down their new password and the readers won't be out anything since they aren't posting anyway. They'll still be able to read all the posts on the board http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/smile.gif
Please understand this isn't being done to punish anyone for not posting, I just want to clean up the member files and free up name possibilities for new members if old ones aren't going to ever post.
So to sum up: If you registered before September 2000, and have not posted a single message on the Board, your member profile will be removed from the Board unless you e-mail me as to why you haven't posted or been able to post. Again, please understand - you need not be a member to read the board, only to post messages.
And if you ever see a post while reading that you feel the need to respond to and you're not a member - it only takes a few seconds to register and a day or so for me to approve the registration - so you'll get that chance to respond.
Hope this doesn't upset anyone - but if it does, let me know here and offer suggestions as to what else to do. Again - this is just being done to keep the board clean and efficient. Thanks for your cooperation everyone! http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/smile.gif
