ON thursday/friday (not sure which)... I read a lumley short that was in... damn, I can't remember that either (oh actually it was in New Tales of the Lovecraft Mythos).. although I know it was also printed in the Second wish. I was on a concoction of drugs to abate the flu, and can't remember anything about it...

THis could be a good game... guess what the story was and I'll be eternally greatful!

Well my mind is coming back now.... but if anyone can help...

The Second Wish appears in both books. The version that appears in The Second Wish and other exhalations restores a paragraph omitted from the New Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos version.

That's great, but not the right answer ;)

New tales of the Cthulhu Mythos is a good book, and I am glad that I have been told about the second wish! Damn I still need to get that collection.... more guesses anyone?

Hint: It was also published in New Tales of the Lovecraft Mythos... Have a look around Arkham house (http://www.arkhamhouse.com/) site for more info.

There is no story that appears in The New Lovecraft Circle and The Second Wish, plus Arkham House aren't the publishers.
I could just state which two Lumley stories appear in The New Lovecraft Circle but where's the fun in that? smile.gif

Technically it is published by Arkham house, as Fedogan and Bremer are an Arkham House imprint ;)... Hey I might have been wrong about the stories not appearing... and checking it out, you were so right about that ;)... OK I'll have to tell you then.... (I did warn you my lu had completely broken my brain though!)
