Old Wamphyri Statues Update...

Well everyone, i thought I would keep you updated on the progress of my statues...

They showed up today and I unpacked them - everything was there except the nameplate for the diorama, but I can live with that.

I will be assembling them this week and start painting them over the next month or so, but I will keep you updated with photos to make you feel like you're part of it. http://www.brianlumley.com/ubb/smile.gif

Second update:

I have all the parts cemented in place that I need to for painting. Putty needs to be filled in now in the cracks (some already has which is the white you will see around the teeth)and then everything will get primed.

I have also included the Hardcover and Paperback of The Source in the pictures for size reference.

Third Update:

I have them sanded and primed!! Now comes the long slow process of painting them in...I will take som e shots as they come along so you can see the trial and error...but for now-here they are!

I have the majority of the black painted in and that's all I have had time for. just been too busy and with a recent wisdom tooth extraction, it will be a bit longer. As soon as I have them to a presentable point, I will post some more updates....

Sorry Canker - no time lately.

The site, my life, my reagular job, and getting ready and everything around for the trip this month have taken all my free time. i have the armor painted black and no more past that. Hopefully after the trip they will come along faster.....

I'm green with envy!! Where ever did you find them?? I have come across them on Ebay but missed out on the auction. Any idea where one may acquire them??
These look great so far!! Wish someone would manufacture more like these or maybe a collection of figures.
Todd McFarlane would do an Excellent job it!! Check out some of the ones he is doing for Clive Barker, HR Giger as well as his Movie Maniacs series..

Guess what? It is taking me forever, but I am finally working on the statues again.....

I have the hair, mouth, teeth and eyes mostly done, but I need to pick up some pastels to shade the body before I post anymore pictures. I'll try to grab those sometime this week and get the pics up by weekend..
