I want to know everyone's favourite movie of all time and why... fav. quote from a movie is cool too.........
Mine?? I have several...
Interview with the Vampire ;)
The Breed
Johnny Mnemonic
Hannabal
Fav. Quote is from Int. w/ the Vamp...(elongated Version...): "God kills, and so shall we; indiscriminately he takes from the richest and the poorest, and so shall we. For no creatures under God are as we are, none so like him as ourselves. Dark angels not confined to the stinking limits of hell but wandering His earth and all it's kingdoms."
---Keep in mind that my fav. movie will change as soon as a Lumley movie surfaces... :D

One film? Just one? Okay, my standard answer would be The Emperor and The Assassin
Since subtitled films aren't easily quoatable because I think they're overall a more emotionally objective experience... (wake up)... we'll go with "Hang on a minute, lads. I've got a great idea," from The Italian Job -- a film that should not be remade with VW Beetles and a largely American cast (which is about to happen, by the way).

With today being Remembrance Sunday, I'll opt for The Dambusters. The story of Barnes Wallace and Bomber Command, that show's the best of Brit determination, bravery and sacrifice in the face of impossible odds.
After countless viewings, the theme tune still brings a tear to my eye.
Fave movie quote - "The name's Bond, James Bond."

Ummm... not quite my all-time fave, but it's the film I've seen most recently, so here's my favourite quote from Preaching To The Perverted...
"Eugenie... stop electrocuting Peter..."
Short but sweet... probably the first time those words have been used to describe anything from that film! ;)

Recent--Reservoir Dogs
"Why do I have to be Mister Pink?"
A little less recent--Goodfellas
More of a sound than a quote...the sound of Henry Hill's gun-butt slamming the skull of the "yuppie" across the street who had made advances toward Henry's wife.
Classic--This one's my wife's fault and you can call me a sap but...Gone With the Wind
Take your hands off me you drunken fool!!"
Fear turned to acid fury...I love it!
The Bloody Lady

Heh heh Deano.. just for you!
Hawkins: I've got it! I've got it! The pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pestle; the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true! Right?
Griselda: Right. But there's been a change: they broke the chalice from the palace!
Hawkins: They broke the chalice from the palace?
Griselda: And replaced it with a flagon.
Hawkins: A flagon...?
Griselda: With the figure of a dragon.
Hawkins: Flagon with a dragon.
Griselda: Right.
Hawkins: But did you put the pellet with the poison in the vessel with the pestle?
Griselda: No!!! The pellet with the poison's in the flagon with the dragon! The vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true!
Hawkins: The pellet with the poison's in the flagon with the dragon; the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true.
Griselda: Just remember that.
You can get a WAV file of it right Here! (http://www.reelclassics.com/Actors/Kaye/kaye.htm)

I admit to being partial to BLADE.
Fav quote is from an older movie:
"I'll be a victim"
"Yes...and for the rest of your life"
and the classic
"Your only supposed to blow the bloody doors off"

favourite moivie huh?
well that's a difficult one, I could go for classics such as metropolis, citizen kane, the maltese falcon (to name a few)... I could go for newer classics, such as starwars, crouching tiger, fight club... but right now it has to be Disney's the Lion King....
Ask me again tomorrow and I'll give you another answer.. the list is endless...
