Hey man for some reason I download it and it keeps giving me an error message, gonna keep trying though. Dragutin, go to www.tucows.com (http://www.tucows.com) and search on the top for zmud that will get you where you need to go.

Dragutin once you have zmud installed you'll see a mud listing... just find 'the last aerie' and you're in.

Kortag I'll be over sometime this week and we'll figure your problem out. It can't be all that hard....

I downloaded it today and spent an hour or so playing. It's fun indeed and in time it could become addictive.
Krynus , when do you usually enter the game and by what name? Are you experienced in mud games? This one is my first and i'm kind of lost, keep wandering around without purpose. Could use some help if you can...

You can get there by using Windows' Telnet, however I'd recommend downloading some mudding software... it's all shareware, so you can use it for a while before paying for it. Btw, the initial charge for the Mud software (like Zmud) is the only charge, there's no charge for the mud itself.

Luther, like I mentioned earlier, and the other is Magnus, a mentalist. Really a character just to goof off with.

I have other chars, but I rarely use them... mostly just those two.

We really need some more players in LA.

Ya, anyone can join... you can use Telnet (it comes with Windows) but I would seriously recommend downloading some type of mudding software, like Zmud or Gmud. Try tucows.com for that... at least you get to use it for 30 days before paying for it... If you try using telnet, keep in mind that Telnet SUCKS.

I'm doing what I can to get new players in there, it seems to have died down a bit after the new year. Btw, there is currently an AOL newbie ban - no new chars for AOL users. Sucks, since a buddy of mine uses AOL, but he just makes his chars. from work.

Look me up if you are on! Currently I am using Grigis and Darken Rahl. I'll gladly help ya out.

Second, is this another form of role playing?
Third, what do you do in it, before I think about downloading it.
But, before you put it down, it says higher up where you can get it.

MUD = Multi User Dungeon..., effectively a place for people to meet up and roleplay, which is usually a text based (described) environment.

The MUDs that I've looked at in the past have usually been 'combat' orientated. The experience your character 'earns' is based on the 'monsters' you kill.

I don't know if this is the case with this MUD. The best way to find out is to download the software and get RPG'ing. There are usually plenty of people willing to help out with 'newbies'.

Seriously though, I'm not sure, I know there is an option for a 'local echo', but I think that just controls whether what you type is displayed on your screen or not.

NECROMANCERS AND NECROSCOPES are for advanced mudders. Last Aerie Mudders, not people who have mudded before.

Exactomundo LD, they are the hardest characters to play, since they are based on pk'ing. At least, the necromancers are.

Good news, there has been a very large player boom as of the past month, and we now usually have around 7-10 players at a time....

Also, paladins and anti paladin classes have been added into the game!
Its change greatly, so please come and check out some of the new stuff!...

I just tried the Last Aerie Mud last night, and got totally confused. I kept going onto help to get used to it, then people started talking and I kept losing where I was reading. If anyone can help get my ICQ from profile. time in UK 7.48pm.
