Times change and we here try to change with them. There are now two ways to access this MessageBoard. Basic Membership which is FREE and Elite Membership which is $10 a year.

<font color="#FFCC00">The Basic membership</font> is limited to reading and posting in only a few of the Book-based forums and your posts must stay on topic. You won't have access to Necroscope News, avatars, private messages, polls, or private forums, but the cost is nothing. That's right. There is <font color="#FFCC00">no fee at all</font> for the Basic Membership. However, you must stay on-topic in your posting. If you go off-topic (OT):

</font> 1st time: Post is removed and you are warned.</font> 2nd time: Post is removed and you are suspended for one week from posting.</font> 3rd time: User is banned from posting completely - no exceptions.</font>

<font color="#FFCC00">The Elite Membership</font> grants you access to all forums, including a year's access to Necroscope News, as well as direct input from Brian and Silky themselves. Private messages, polls, avatars - all is available to Elite Members for only <font color="#FFCC00">$10/year.</font>

So what does $10 a year get the Elite Lumlian?
</font> Full access to posting and replies on the Board except Starside.</font> Year subscription to Current Newsletter.</font> Full access to all archives and past special features of Necroscope News.</font> Private Message Access and Usage</font> Avatar Selection</font> Poll Participation</font> Custom Title</font> User email may be web-based - nonpaid must be ISP's</font> Ability to talk to Brian and Silky directly</font>
If wishing to upgrade from the Basic to the Elite Membership: Payment must be in US dollars unless other arrangements have been made by contacting me through email. It can be in the form of a check, money order, or credit card/check card.

Things to include when making your payment:

- Your first and last name
- Your valid email address
- Your shipping address
- Your Username and password on the Board (these will be checked against your current profile)

These things are for security reasons. These will not be seen by anyone but me and only used for validating the membership and if I need to contact you regarding a problem.

Please, if under 18 - get your parent's permission before using a credit card! We will not be held responsible for your actions.

If you wish to pay by credit or debit card, please go to the Store Page (http://www.brianlumley.com/store/blc2.html) and follow the instructions there.

If sending a check or money order: Make it payable to:

Dave McDougle
PO 787
Arlington, OH 45814
USA

If you are a former member of Brian Lumley.com - you do not need to re-register. Just email me after reading and agreeing to the new Registration Rules with your username and email address you used for registration, and your old account will be reactivated to the Basic Membership.

I hope everyone likes the new changes and I hope to see you all active soon.

As a follow-up, if it wasn't clear or understood or implied correctly -

All current subscribers are automatically upgraded to Elite Membership until their subscription is up, if they have paid the year at a time method. At that time, if they do not renew, they will be reduced to the Basic Membership.

Just a note to all new people registering - even if only for a Basic Membership -

YOU MUST NOT USE A WEB BASED EMAIL ADDRESS!

If you do, your registration will be declined. Also, if you do not include your real name in your profile somewhere, your membership will be declined. No exceptions.

EDIT: I created the Basic membership option as a free way to let anyone join in conversations about Brian and his works, but if you cannot follow a simple Basic Rule at the start, then you won't be able to follow the rules afterwards. That is why I am declining the memberships. Please read - that is all you have to do. Thanks for your time.
