Worth watching? I'm usually a Tim Burton fan, but Ewan McGregor kinda puts me off... someone tell me whether to see it or not!!

Tim Burton fan myself but this one seems a little out there for me and Obi-Wan-Kenobi's southern accent does seem a little pants.
But on saying that I've heard only good things about it so far and my sister reckons it's great as well.

I'd say take the risk GG and go see it

This movie has been getting major play from alot of people whom I usually respect but for some reason I can't get past the feeling that this is going to be one of those total ego "I am an artist and this is my art!!" stroker movies.

Could be wrong as I too usually like Tim Burton (that is excluding that piece of #*#& Planet of the Apes remake)

Been getting good reviews and even compared to "The Princess Bride" so it's gotta be good! Plus I love Ewan&Tim so i'll be there regardless!

From what people have told me Timmy's gone Hollywood smaltz... Those saying it as a good thing said that it was going back to Edward Scissorhands in tone... But Eddie had a dark underbelly, I can't see any darkness here - if anyone sees it and finds out otherwise let me know... This is the first time I've not wanted to watch a Tim Burton film - please prove me wrong!

Seen the trailer and the Danny Elfman score was very Edward Scissorhands -- Tim Burtons great but not sure at all about this un! The wife wants to go so no doubt will have a visit....

I saw this yesterday. Dang, I'm not a crying kinda guy, but this show! oh man, I walked outta there in tears. I'll never watch it again because it did that to me.

I enjoyed the rest of the show though, more of a rental than a must see in the theater...

Went to see this last night ... not upto Burtons normal standard I have to say - but will no doubt win some awards. Oh and Ewan would do well to stay away from American accents IMHO!
