A new satellite/cable TV channel is being launched in the UK this weekend, The Horror Channel. Probably loads of cheesy old films... and cheesy new films too, LOL!

I went to it, looks pretty good but where is the channel going to be on? i have ntl cable but couldn't find where it might be...


something to while away the late hours! i love cheesy hammer stuff!!

It looks fiendishly good... But the site says October 2004 - looks like they got revenue early! Now all I need is to move in with somebody who has sattelite or cable - I think a customer survey is needed! tongue.gif

Checked it out a little last night... some seriously dodgy films!

Speaking of which, the Sci-Fi channel in the UK is having a Van Helsing weekend, this weekend coming, with films such as Bram Stoker's Dracula and Near Dark

Checked it out......and deary me it's not exactly stacked with the best quality horror movies, some very poor offerings indeed.

Although it does have Nosferatu on today, but it's probably the 70s remake with Klaus Kinski, which doesn't have half the atmosphere of the original (though it does have Isabella Adjani!) smile.gif

Well on terrestrial TV tonight (UK) is <b>Battle Royale</b>, one of the finest Japanese horror/gore films I've ever seen... Channel 4, 11pm. It's incredibly violent, but with some funny moments too... only watch it if you can handle seeing Japanese schoolchildren killing each other in numerous grim ways, LOL!
