worst (in your opinion) band ever

for me, and i am a big fan, i would have to say the sex pistols. i was going to say limp bizkit, but the band is decent. it's just fred durst i can't stand. the pistols were a piss poor band, that was the idea. i am not knocking them, just making my pick for the worst band ever. or maybe hanson. grin.gif

The Cheeky Girls are definately the worst ever and I'm only thankful that I was living over in Aus when they were number 1

This is a good one to mull over -- two that spring to mind are Wet Wet Wet, with the smily faced scottish git - who like many others have just reformed to cash in... and Simply Red, who have an equally annoying lead singer with an annoying face!!

All these are of course IMHO!!!....

Worst Goth band I reckon are Nightwish (sorry P!) or possibly In Extremo... lots of songs about The Fatherland, The Iron Cross and way too many bagpipes!

Worst rock band (ooh, gonna make myself popular here!)... so many contenders, but I despise AC/DC with a passion. Voice like a cheesegrater and old worn-out regurgitated 'riffs'. I'd sooner listen to any of the Pop Idol rejects than them. Just thinking about them makes my ears hurt!

we were indeed at reading, got very muddy and a little bit drunk from time to time. if there is an AC/DC singalong i think i can find a better use for that cheese grater! I think that slapping Fred Durst should be made mandatory.

Can you feel the divide? I can just imagine, all the AC/DC fans on one side of the room and all the Darkness fans on the other singing as loud as they can to each other!

I will be sat with the AC/DC fans as one who is about to rock, in my oppinion the Darkness do not rock.

Though having said that, there are far worse bands out there, like the Prodigy - I hate them!

I happen to like the Prodigy and have got there new albumb although admittidly it's Knowhere near as good as there older stuff.

Plus it's just the one guy now Liam Howlet as all the the others are to rich and can't be bothered anymore.

Your both probably quite right about it but I seem to be blinded by the fact that I used to love them so much and I just put it on and make myself like it for old times sake.

I think it's a symptom of being career oriented at the mo, I'm doing really really really wellll for myself and I've furthered myself alot over the past 6 months but it's come at a price, I work far to much and don't do fun things through the week as I'm to busy and I think my brain has melted down in the fun zones and I just don't know good music anymore (Questionable to whether I actually did in the first place)

Plus I'm hardly ever on the board anymore and when I do I can't think of anything good to write or chip in with, man that's depressing the hell out of me :(
