in this current time, it would appear that anything can be sold.
the question is how much would you be prepared to appear in a novel?
currently bidding is going on for charity to appear within the works of:
Writers Margaret Atwood, Pat Barker, Ken Follett, Robert Harris, David Lodge, Ian McEwan, Terry Pratchett and Zadie Smith

i would certainly like to crop up in Terry Pratchets next novel. im just not sure i would like what i would be though.
last years bids were around the £2k mark to get into literary immortality.
putting this in a context of the BL. which one of Brians books would you like to appear in, as what character and to play what part in a situation.
answers on a post card.
I would have liked to have appeared as a character in the latter part of the series who had received one of harry golden darts. Someone who had some embrionic necroscope skills not all the responsibilities...
