Thought we'd carry on the comments here so we don't take up more space in Silky's Forum

I would just like to say what a pleasure it was to meet everyone. I hope no one remembers me (!) as I was a bit under the weather, I had a stinking cold so could hardly hear myself speak let alone anybody else, that along with mixing anti-biotics, contact 400, lemsip and then a couple of pints of beer and 5+ double rum and cokes I think I did get very drunk and don't remember much myself. Well I am suffering now especially as we went to Jilly's RockWorld and got back to the "Drop Inn" at about 3+ in the morning only to find the key did't open the door so we had to force the door or face a night in the open air. I am now heading back to bed to try and recover from this cold and from the extremely sore neck I awoke with on Sunday. As I said it was a real pleasure meeting everyone and I raise my mug to Debs and Layla for getting this event on it's feet and also to Brian and Silky because none of this would have been posiible without them. Plus not forgetting Dave from state(star)side for building this web page in the first page, so we could all meet and and share ideas - I salute you.

Well, what can I say that hasn't already been said?

OMG What a fantastic weekend. Meeting everybody was amazing and both Naomi and myself had a fantastic time (she'll be able to post herself soon... That's another one converted!! ;)).

As those before me have said, big thanks to Debs, Scar, Hoodless Shadoe :D and of course Brian and Silky. Thanks also to everybody who was there - what a fantastic bunch of people  .

Well that's enough, I'm rambling now, I'll sit back and eagerly await the pictures

Ps Scar, don't I know it, Naomi ran straight for the CD collection as soon as we got home!! redface.gif

A wonderful night. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thanks to all attendees for being so cool!! You guys never disappoint. Thanks to everyone who organised and laboured behind the scenes, both conference organisers and Moebius, to make the evening a success. Thanks to those who helped me with transport and lodging and made it possible for me to be able to attend.

A great opportunity to talk to great friends, both new and old, from a GREAT BOARD. We should count ourselves extremely lucky indeed...

Well met everyone! I hope you all got home safely. As soon as I've connected my camera to my PC I'll try to make the few photo's I took available to anyone who's interested. :D

A top night indeed.

Damn fine to see everyone again, and all the people who I hadn't met before. Helen and I really enjoyed ourselves - but that much was pretty much a foregone conclusion smile.gif

Thanks to those behind the scenes, and those in front ! Thanks to Mobius for the intruiging sneak peek, too.

Helen really enjoyed herself too; she remarked to me later that it was nice that everyone was so 'civilised' smile.gif

Lumlian meetings are good things. Let's make sure they keep happening smile.gif

*oops*
I forgot to mention - I have pics, and as soon as one off you talented types can offer to post them on the board for me, I'll mail them to you. Thanks !

WOW!!!!! we (myself and Tasha) have Never met a nicer bunch of people than those that we got to meet from the board. And we're still missing out on those who couldnt make it!! :(

At last we got to meet the famous faces from the board.

We finally got over our Nervousness of meeting Brian & Silky. They are really lovely people!!! The KeoghCon is something we'll never forget, putting all the names to the faces, What a weekend. I hope next time the guys from across the pond can come as well, and also more costumes. Some really great photos were taken of the costumes, and what smashing costumes they were!!. Great work Guys!! A great big thanx to Gothgirl & Scar for organising such a great Do!! And to all the others whose names are too many that made the night a success!!

One very happy Spawn :D

Fellow Lumlians,

I'm sorry to have to do this, but this topic is closed. We didn't get in until late last night so I didn't get a chance to put up a new thread, but there was nothing wrong with the old thread.

Brian would like to keep track of this and the easiest way for him to do that is in his forum where it originates.

We'll have some news forthcoming in the near future on the possibility of a second KeoghCon.

Beastliest,

Silky
