please reply interest, suggested venues and days you can do... since im not a townie, i will leave the venue suggestion to the LOCALS ;)

I'm free that day (well, probably!), as I believe Johno is, and it would also be exactly a year since a memorable night at the Fantasy Centre!

Tops, I'd rather do the Ben Crouch Tavern rather than Bram Stoker Tavern, cos it's a lot easier to get to! Although it does get a lot busier Saturdays... we'd have to have an early start...!!!

OK, just read about the Post Xmas party at the Fantasy Centre... that'll teach me to read from the bottom of the Board upwards!!

Hopefully, whoever can't make it to this pre-Xmas meet-up will be able to make it to the Fantasy Centre, which will of course be far more fun!

So if I don't see some of you on the 8th or 15th (whenever!), hopefully will be able to make up for it on Jan 25th! :D

well having just spoken to Johno (who wants me to let u guys know he would prefer the 15th dec).

As ive already said I can do that date, it would look like the majority of us can now do the 15th.

So unless otherwise it seems thats it pretty certain that the pre-christmas drinkie is going to be on the 15th.

so if one of ze locals could choose a venue thats preferably near a station and provide some directions, then we are "good to go!!!!"

Christmas decorations are purely optional!!!

As for location, I still vote for the Ben Crouch Tavern... it's one of those Eerie pubs that I love so much! It has the benefit of being near both Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street tube stations.

Plus if anyone feels brave enough, they can tackle the Oxford Street crowds and do a little shopping!!

I could meet you at Paddington if you want, I know where all the pubs are. I know the area around there really well... if you got there b4 we all meet at the pub we could pop in to FP so you can spend lots of money on books you neither need or want! But they do have a reasonable Ganley collection for sale at the moment.

Directions would also be required for me. I've been to London 3 times, once I followed someone in a car and didn't get lost. Once I drove in and got totally lost. Once I got the train in and still got lost.

Though I did see Buckingham Palace, I was going to Charings Cross from Leicester Square, if this helps to so how incapable I am in London. So, London and me 3 - 0 to London.

You're not being harsh are you?? and in all fairness I rekon you're being true to my tardiness... but hey I am meeting with Lawrence before hand, and I wont be late for that, well unless some b*stard jumps under a train and it takes me 2.5 hours to get where I want to be... not like this morning at all, and then one of the trains I wanted wasn't running, and I (poor sod that I am) had to sit next to the most irritating woman ever... even when I blatently ignored she didn't get the message that I was even remotely interested in being talked at. Personally if I was really eveil I would have told her to shut the f**k up, which now seems like such a wasted moment.

Yeah... for those that have never travelled the London Underground before, there's no better way to start a Monday morning than arriving at the station to hear that all the trains had been suspended due to 'a passenger under a train' two stops away... nice!!

Well... a small gathering this time, but no less fun for that!!

Von D and Johno were sorely missed, but the 5 of us (Keith & Sarah - Dark Crystal, Tops, Llamedos and myself) did our best to compensate by raising our noise levels accordingly!

Lots of fun and laughs... as you'll see by some of the photos that will be posted in due course!! Although thanks to Keith and his quick response with the digi-cam, I think some of them are best left to languish somewhere...!!

Very good day on saturday, very pissed, as was everyone, and it was good to meet some new people I hadn;t met before, although DarkCrystal(the pair) seem to think I met them at the convention... my mind is broken.... great to see you all, and Mr Llamedos, thanks for the call, but sadly my mobile died a real death on saturday night;(
