I think some of the members have read Patricia Cornwell's series, I have and might just have lost any respect I had for her as an author, but my boss's sister dropped by with this little tidbit.

Me? I think the woman has lost it,personally I don't believe it seeming I can't see this Impressionist Artist having the medical skills...although if they could ever solve the 'Jack the Ripper' cases it would be a part of history eh?

Your thoughts?

Personally I think Cornwell is one of the best female writers of our age and I am intrigued as to why you have lost your respect for her??

I read the article and I am impressed at the dedication and insight she has shown in the case and I believe there has to be a possibility of truth or she would never stake her reputation on a whim.

There have been many theories, none of which have been proven.

As this man is obviously long dead it is only conjecture as to wether he would have had the medical ability or not. I don't think the fact he was a painter would have been of any significance on that score although painters do have an amazing eye for detail and intricacy.
Who knows? He may have been a trainee doctor, butcher or just had a fascination with medical books.

We all have our own opinions on things, thats what makes us all different from anyone else. :)

Thanks for putting your views down, thats why I put this here in the first place, but since this has nothing to do with Brian or his work, I put this down strictly for entertainment...just a bit of what the media likes to do in their spare time I guess, and some of the way author's can advertise their work, not that there is anything wrong with that, lol, if you can make a quick buck, go for it!
