Heh heh, I agree with you Tops... Very surprised the US won that game myself. Almost was like Portugal was out there just knitting! I mean, sure the US team is fairly good, although I'll back up the women against the men anyday, but the US has two who are injured even!

I sure wouldn't have wanted to be in Portugal after that game! Can you imagine??

Has only seen a few snippets of the game, broadcast as usual for here will be shown taped on Sunday I'm sure. At least I can say I'm lucky that ABC has even decided to show World Cup, they sure as hell aren't doing a good job with F1! Cripes.. only 4 races?? Give me a break!

lol, I agree with you Scarlet re' US's chance on being top at footie! Will never happen! Mainly because of lack of country support for the sport. Told one fella as he was thrilled over tie between US and Korea..lol, I said don't be too thrilled about having tie with 40th place team!
