I'm glad we've off-loaded the Alice band wearing southern jessie.

Cheer up HH, we can lose players like Becks, Yorke, Cole, Irwin, Bruce, Ince, Sharpe, Schmeical, Sparky, Wilkins etc and still win silverware.

You should have been at the last game of the 73-74 season when Law, playing for City scored the goal that sent us down into the old second division. Now that was a tear-jerker. :(

Me .. bitter ... never!!!

We did offload 'Rio the Injured' for a snip of 29 million.... so we did get some of the C@ntana money back ..to squander, and lose and not see on the field of play!!

I repeat -- ME ... BITTER ... NEVER!!!!!!!

I bet you're bitter tonight since Lancashire beat Yorkshire by seven wickets at the "other" Old Traffford. ;) Although it was this new fangled twenty overs game.

If you run out of bitter, you can always drink mild. :D

I apologise for posting this topic now as it seems it's started a bitter feud between Mr Black and A1 (not to be confused with the puffy boy band) and I feel very very bad about it, so I'll just say a few words to try and defuse the situation:

Caller we know were great and a much superior team than anyone of the good teams in the prem so we don't need to lower ourselves to there level especialy to someone who supports a lets face one of the relegation candidates for next year, so let bygones be bygones and let them worry about having a scouser in charge.

A1 just deal with it will yah, so we stole Eric of you he only won us 4 championships and 2 F.A.cups it could have been worse, and yeah we are probably gonna nick Kewell and Robinson but you can't expect players like that to be playing in the 1st div in a years time now can we.

I hope that helps lads and that we can move past all this bitterness and just be happy little Lumlians. ;)

WE ARE UNITED THE COCKS OF THE NORTH,
WE HATE THE SCOUSERS AND COCKNEYS OF COURSE AND LEEDS............... :D

Man Utd Fans....

Can't live with them...
Can't grind them under foot for the insects they are...

But no we must feel sorry for them, after all think of all that lost revunue from the sales of tops etc.. with Becks written on.
Now where are all the True Man U (India; Asia; Outer Mongolia, Pluto etc...) fan's gonna get their tops; Oh yes Barcelona innit!!!!

Although I whole heartedly agree with Lancashire beating down the Yorkies situation...

Tut tut another bitter anti-united supporter, well it just makes me sad to think that being jealous of somebody elses success can make people so bitter and twisted, dear oh dear ohhhh dear.

Oh and it's Real Madrid not Barcelona just incase there was a little bit of confusion.

This is turning into quite a thread .. not really fitting for the site of a literary master!!

But to me its all good fun .... I am a Leeds United season ticket holder - born and bred and to me I ain't jealous or bitter about the Man U success... I just ain't bothered. Its good for the soul to have abit of the olde footy banter - and I look forward to meeting my Man U friends for discussion and debate....

There really is only one United to me - and it isn't Red.... but I'm all for diversity ...

Anyway .. MARCHING ON TOGETHER, WERE GONNA SEE YOU WIN ..... :D

I wasn't going to go anywhere near this evil-related thread but come on people, there's no reason that we can't all get on whatever our footie persuasion. For example, my best friend supports the scum..sorry, i meant man u...and we get on fine.Lets put it all behind us.It's the two better red teams that dominated last season, let's hope for more of the same and maybe even a return to form from the white and black n white of the country.

...Wise words Red .... my father-in-law is a Man U fan as well -- and I forgive him his sins.

We are all UNITED under the banner of Lumley...

(now that is a profound thought from yours truly!) :D

Just so you can all relax and be at ease with yourselves you can stop being all concerned about my happiness now that Becks has left my life because I've took a huge step in the healing process and bought something to cheer myself up with..........yes you've guessed it......it's the brand new black Manchester United away kit and it's got the little gold premier leauge lions on the side that only the CHAMPIONS can wear and everything, but the icing on the cake is that printed on the back is the legend CANTONA 7, unfortunately it wont arrive till the 17th so I can't show it off in Leeds this coming Saturday (I'm sure your gutted about that aren't you A1) ;)

Anyway, you'd want something nice and clean;
not some sweat drenched, perfumed, coarse fabric near your bottie.

Especially when it's already had some ***P innit!!!!

APOLOGIES TO NON-FOOTY FANS FOR KEEPING THIS THREAD ALIVE!!

But today as a Leeds fan there really is only one true Harry K. in my life now -- and its not the greedy Aussie Git whose just departed to scouseland!!!

Long live Harry Keogh ...as Kewell is no more!!!

You see it's not that nice when one of your best players leaves is it.....but hark how did I fare when Becks left did I get sympathy a shoulder to cry on perhaps or was I ridiculed and poked fun at, now I could hold a grudge and laugh at you in the same heartless manner but I won't I'm different to rest of you people when a human being is hurting I reach out to them and try to give them some comfort.........wait a minute I said human being didn't I and your a Leeds fan well thats completely different HA HA HA HE HE HE HA HA HA HE HE HE HA HA HE HA HE HO HA HE HO HA HE HO HA HA HE HE HO HO HO HO HA HA HA HA HA HE HE HE HE tongue.gif

At least you can take comfort in the fact that as soon as he moves into his new home in the capital of crime and culture his wheels on his jag will go missing along with his car stereo and then a couple of weeks later his T.V. and video are bound to get nicked ;)

Don't worry ancient-a week or 2 into pre-season training he's sure to injure himself and then they can't play him either, he's good like that ;)
HH-you're right, Leeds fans aren't human, we're super-human supporters of super Leeds United tongue.gif and we'll eat you alive, washed down with a nice pint of bitter of course.

Blimey A1, if you get any more bitter, you may as well become a Man City fan.

At least when you drop down the divisions you can play teams like Blackpool and Bournemouth and have a nice day out at the seaside.

I'm really sorry to all you football haters out there but I feel that I have to keep this little corner alive if only in a small way !

Just posting here to say that I'm made up we didn't sign that Goofy Brazilian, UTD needed him like a hole in the head.

So A1 I see the mighty LEEDS have signed a midget..........why's that then ? :D
