View Full Version : Managing To Get Through This Okay...

Well, I've pretty much managed to work myself around the new board. A few glitches I found I've forwarded on to Shadow. Don't know if the affect everybody but I'm sure he'll know.
My big thing right now is not easily knowing how to make a thread prominent like I did before moving it up to the top until it's not important anymore. I'm sure it's something simple but that's just me.
I like the looks and I've managed to add my avatar, signature without any problems. Now we'll just take the rest as it comes...
Looking good Shadow!
What the heck is stick this thread? And don't be cheeky!

Heh heh you are doing better than I am then Silky! It took at least 2 "Resending Login Information" emails for me to finally remember what my login name and password was.. I reckon being here 6 years a person can tend to forget. And you have sorted out the signatures.. I have no clue yet
And don't quote me on this Silky, but I think the 'Stick the Thread' means that you can pin it to be prominent.
Yep, Shadoe did a great job! I keep looking for the glowing skulls though to tell me when a new thread is up though!
Hmm the Quick Reply doesn't seem.. well, that could just be me too lol

Yeah, I stuck it! It works. Sticking it moves the thread to the top. Thanks for that suggestion Ema!
I've been working on this for about two hours now back and forth. Having a new bathroom fitted next door to my study ... so if I stay in here I can keep an eye and ear open...

I'd say you're doing pretty good Silky! :) I have the changes done you requested and I've emailed them off to you. Enjoy playing with the new board. I'm off to work so I'll check in at the end of the day!

Soph,
I know what you mean but I managed it.
Go to User CP ... click on edit profile and everything is there. All you have to do is save it when you are done.
Then go to edit avatar ... now you can upload one from your own computer.
Hope this helps...
