I was wondering what other peoples favourite books or series have been apart from Necroscope.

Having read and enjoyed most of Brian's books, my favourite would have to be the Psychomech trilogy (esp Psychamok), and The House of Doors books

I'm the same with Psycomech series and Khai of Khem, but I got to say I get a big kick out of the many short stories as well.

I can't think of any I don't like, but the ones that equal the Necroscope books, or even surpass them in my opinion, are, in this order:

Demogorgon
The "Khash" stories
Khai of Khem
the Dreamlands books

While I do enjoy the Cthulhu mythos tales, the Psychomech trilogy (particularly Psychamok), and the two House of Doors books, they don't come close to those I just mentioned, much less the first ten of the Necroscope saga.

As for the "shorts" collections, who the hell can choose just one?!

I'm with Nathan, there aren't any that I don't like and I find chosing favourites so difficult, so I'm not going to!

Titus Crow was astoundingly good. I also mega enjoyed "The Clock Of Dreams". The description of the Clock reminds me of what Tardif (The Master's Tardis) looked like in Doctor Who: "Keeper of the Traken" when Nyssa's dad turned into the Master.
Personally I've always thought that Nyssa's dad really was the Master and that he took over a planet and made a Utopia to raise his Daughter in... Nyssa is def0 one of the best of the goodguys, Whitehats so to speak. Just because her Dad was evil doesn't mean she is. After all The Master happily bundled her off into the safest place in all of Time and Space... The TARDIS.

Is Brian Lumley going to write some Doctor Who episodes for the new series? Or maybe some Torchwood? I think if he was working with one of the Staff writers (to translate his written style to screenplay format) he would come up with a good one... Like what if Leela was a Good Vampire/Wamphyri from Starside that fell in love with the Doctor when he was looking for a Gal his own age?
"She only ever ate one person!! I swear!! OK Two people, the other guy was trying to kill her and the Doctor!!" - Andred/WHO/Jayme/Formerly known as Adric/Univers (Army of Ghosts and Doomsday) /Howord from the Market/Fitz/Rose's step grand-dad Prentice (after Jackies dad Mr. Tyler got killed in the book where the Tardis gets blown to smitherines and the Doctor gets charred up. Fitz)

The Doctor and WHO... The Doctor Regenerates, he looks different from time to time, WHO always looks the same and changes his name.

Joanna Lumley did after all play the female Master in "Curse of the Fatal Death" and she was the "Rani" wasn't she?

Thanks Brian, your words have helped me through the wierdness... Harry's Spirit is eternal.

It is hard to choose because I have loved everything I have read by Lumley.

Primal Lands Series is great.
Dreamland Series is also great.
Khia of Khem is awesome with some really gross scenes.
Titus Crow is different, but really good.
