Here's what I think an industro/EBM/Sky-Fi soundtrack for the Scope could be.

Nine Inch Nails/ Joy Division - Dead Souls (Obviously a Scope song)
Edge of Dawn - Elegance
Collide - Crushed (song avail. for free DL from www.collide.net)
Rammstien - Du Hast
ohGr - WaTeRgAtE (It's actually about Jake Cutter meeting Korath... I sang it.)
Snog - The Future
Collide - Razor Sharp
Orbital - Moebius (from the Brown album... "Life begins as a Moebius strip)
Portishead - Glory Box
Evil's Toy - Victim of the Sun

Death In Vegas - Driving Horses
Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi is Dead
Love and Rockets - Haunted When The Minutes Drag
Nine Inch Nails - Only, Piano Noise version by Passing Notes (from www.ninremixes.com)
Nine Inch Nails/ Joy Division - Dead Souls (Obviously a Scope song)
Ministry - Thieves ("Get up, get on your feet!!")
Combichrist - Play Dead ("That's right, lay down, play dead, be dead!")
Nine Inch Nails - non-Entity, Her Entity (from www.ninremixes.com femme vox)
Nine Inch Nails - The Great Below

Just an Idea....
Oh, Whodini did figure out a way to send a message back.

Thanks Mr. Ning!0

Nine Inch Nails, and ohGr (I'm a part of the ohGr project with Nivek and Mark, but I'm not getting any moneys from it anymore... Residuals ran out) both like to write Necroscope inspired songs.
Trent and Niv and I wrote some songs about Doctor Who (Wish NIN Dr. 4-5 regen, Chaos ohGr "The broken Talking Dog" (K-9) ) Necroscope (Hurt NIN "You could have it all, my empire of dirt" -Harry, WaTeRgAtE ohGr "As I slip off the back of the rock, thats so hard to hold on to... The way that you left me!" rep. Korath in book 11) as well as the Barker stuff...

Combichrist was actually inspired by the modern Necroscope to do -Play Dead
Icon of Coil is also worth checking out.
Collide has always been about Ghosts, the image from Wings of Steel is very reminecent of the Ring girls art (a real haunting... Not nearly as dangerous as before, but still dangerous)
Dead Souls... Obviously Scope.
Closer, its about a ghost having a steamy psychic sexual relationship with a scope... "You let me violate you... You let me desecrate you... (not the body but the spirit)" The living Scopic one "I wanna f#ck you like an animal" The female spirit.

I've read books 1-13, about 1/2 of Necroscope and other Wierd Heroes, and the online first chapter of The Touch, as well as Titus Crow (Harry grand dad?) and the Clock of Dreams stuff...

Oh Chris Ning, is that you on my myspace friends list?

Ministry - Theres a Song off of "Twitch" with a sample that sounds straight out of Dead Eddy (Other Wierd Heroes)...
Mafia guy "So Eddy, ya scared?"
Eddy "Terrified is more like it."

Also, the band Download's album "Eyes Of Stanley Pain" (Cevyn Key of Skinny Puppy)
Base Metal - Kinda like a song by the Prospector
The whole album is INTERESTING and intellegent.
Thier album "Furnace" is also well worth checking out

Skinny Puppy from the album Last Rights: "Love In Vein", "Riverz End", and "Killing Game"
From the Album : The Greater Wrong of the Right. Listen to the whole thing.
(Traz Damji is Trent Reznor of NIN under a cunning disguise name)

Ministry's Twitch: The Isle of Man, Theres also a song with "Dalek here, Dalek there, Daleks everywhere!" And "The Angel" with 'One like me, we try so hard, five like you... Someone Dead again! Always an angel there... Like a baby grabbing at something that isn't there." Something like a ghost that the baby sees?

All of the Collide catalog is worth it. www.collide.net

Apoptygma Berserk has some interesting Scope like dancy songs (One with Camina Burana in it... Carl Orff the III was involved) "Love Never Dies pt. 1"

Decoded Feedback has a great side project called Dark Illumination. Yonne was on the television show "Highlander The Raven" the Defcode stuff is good too.

Velvet Acid Christ is worth checking out...

16volt - Let Down Crush.. "The Dreams That Rot In You Heart" and "Something Left".

Metropolis Records - Faith and the Muse
-Snog

www.dependent.de Mind.in.a.box and the others are worth checking out as well... Lots have a free song or two to DL.

For the Movie I'd say 3 distinct soundtracks would do it... 2 discs each, or Dual discs (with lots of extras on the DVD side).
One: Life
Two: Death
Three: Undeath.

Harry may be the god of revenge, but he'll always be my friend.... At least in words and whispers. ;)

it's an amazing thing - really. I give people more freedom to talk about multiple things, and they use it to post about things that are strictly for Elite Lumlians, and then they go even further by replying to themselves with an even longer rant about an off topic subject.

if you want to talk about what kind of music you like, then sign up to become an Elite Lumlian instead of throwing out garbage and acting like you are suggesting a soundtrack for the movie. Your post to yourself on this issue will get you a one-day suspension. Tread carefully 23Nt3X.
