Hello Everyone,

I've just finished read my first Necroscope novel (The Lost Years V.1!).... FANTASTIC... how did I miss them before!!! I've picked up Necroscope books a few times in Waterstones but, I have to say, was put off by the cover image and description. It wasn't until I was chatting with a work colleague about my favorite book of all time 'I Am Legend' by Richard Matheson that he recommended the Necroscope novels to me. Once I started reading I just couldn’t put the book down and finished reading it on Christmas day (It must have been the best Xmas ever!), I have just ordered the first five Necroscope novels from Amazon.co.uk and am waiting impatiently.

While searching for Brian Lumley novels I found my way here to this website without even conjuring a Mobius door! A great fan website and well worth leaving a message to Brian and his devoted fans.

Keep up the good work Brian and I look forward to reading about the undead walking the streets of my home town Hartlepool (sounds like 2.30am after everyone’s kicked out the nightclubs!).

Ohh another victim! Welcome to the Forums MonkeyH and you have successfully delved into something that you will well enjoy into the future! And believe me.. you ain't seen nothing yet! Wait until you read his Psychomech series, or the House of Doors & Demogorgon... Cthulhu you say? Well, you will love Titus Crow and the Dreamland series as well! Keep a bookmark of Amazon as I am sure you will be visiting that site often!

I've received Necroscope books 2 to 5 from Amazon!!! O NO, NO BOOK ONE,,, I have to wait longer. I've noticed Lost Years Vol. 2 is no longer published, although I can buy it secondhand.

Thanks for the welcoming reply's.

Ema - I'll keep an eye out for the books you've mentioned. A victim, yes, Brian Lumley’s thrall forever,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, :)

John & Paul - Newcastle is the best city in the world!! I went to Uni there many, many moon ago! And had some great times on the Quayside, the Quilted Camel and Gotham City (near the train station) are two of my old haunts. Me and the wife go to Newcastle and the Metrocentre often for the shops, which can't be beat anywhere. My wife is Irish so I spend most of my time in Cork now, but travel back to H'pool at least once a month to see my family. I'm from old Hartlepool, the headland and you might guess my log-in name from that?!!!

Welcome to the site Monkey! I've just gotten the last book in the series. And I do have Amazon bookmarked...lol. I have read The House of Doors, Maze of Worlds, and Demogorgon as well. Will be moving on the the Psychomech and Titus Crow series once I've completed Necroscope. I've found I not only enjoy Brian's work when I read it, but I want to read it again and again, always finding someting I missed the last time I read it!!! Enjoy the books...and keep in touch!

Welcome MonkeyH to the boards. You might like to keep an eye on ebay as the more limited stock book sometimes pops up. At some point in the future you MUST read the adventures of Hero and Eldin The Wanderer, they are second to none.
:D reading.
