Whatever happened to the Necroscope game from 'mobiusent.com'(i think thats right)?
Read about it in an old thread but I've never seen or heard of it elsewhere. Does anyone know if it was completed or if anything similar exists. For that matter, any recommendations for good vampire games to fill the void would be great.
Thnx,

Is that the one set in LA, used the Halflife2 tech.?
Recieved an email about that, its what got me thinking actually. You got it? Which platform? I want it for my PS2 now-sounds good.

Yeah, that's it.
The problem is, I think it's PC only. And Troika is bankrupt, so it doesn't look good for any console release.

Is'nt there a new vamp romp for the 360? I hear it's splintercell ripoff? Give me worms anyday :)

I've heard about the Necroscope game, but I haven't seen any pictures of it (or if so then I don't recall):p
I've been thinking about a game for some time, I like strategy games like Generals, Tiberium Wars, the Total war series and so on. I think that an RTS game on the books would have been awesome, if it's doable that is.
Shouldn't be much of a problem today with the technology we have in the game industry, nor if Mr. Lumley co-operated with the production of the game.
I don't know about you, but an RTS of the Necroscope would be awesome:D
Sincerely

ive devoted two notebooks to the idea of necroscope as an MMO set in sunside/starside..as long as you stay away from the level/loot based system of WoW then yer golden...but then again with all the time ive spent just kickin around ideas on it..i doubt i would be happy with anything less than building the game myself..and that would be a dream come true for me

it was made by a rival company to the D&D folks:
but no one ever wanted to play it: so i kinda let all the cards get ruined and thrown in the trash, and now only have the gamemaster manual and stuff...

The Mobius Ent. game fell by the wayside - it was in production back at KeoghCon One but nothing ever came from it - their outfit got bought out by Rockstar I believe a couple years back. Wouldn't hold your breath for that one...
On the Board/RPG game front - check out http://www.brianlumley.com/books/necroscope/roleplay.html (http://www.brianlumley.com/forums/../books/necroscope/roleplay.html)
for info on the kit and manuals that were available. It is solely an ebay item now, so good luck!

the best vamp games i ever played were the blood omen and soul reaver series. theyre fairly old now, but i think a couple of them are out on the ps2.
the one for the 360 was called vampire rain but it sucks (no pun intended lol)

Haha...Vampire Rain, copy and paste Splinter Cell and add some vampires. Total ripoff.
