Hi all, i have just finished the first five books and was hoping to get blood brothers. I seem to be having terrible trouble finding it new, any reason why its so difficult to get. I know I could get it second hand but im curious as to why it is so hard to get new. Will it be available in the future.

Where do you live?

I've seen it still on the shelf in a few bookshops locally (Bris, Australia) and online.

Hi Duck,
I live in Ireland, I ordered the first books online. I cant seem to find a new copy of Blood Brothers to buy online, I have'nt had a chance to check any bookshops at the moment. Curious as to why I cant find it new, would prefer to get a new copy (at a reasonable price).

It is becomming increasingly rare in the shops but is still available to order I believe. Something to bear in mind though, the harder it is to find the more it'll cost when you do so I suggest if you want it, get it as soon as you can.

Hey,

As suggested on this site try ...

www.bookfinder.com for both new & used

If no luck I may be able to pick one up for you locally but postage would be a killer ... let me know. You are probably better off trying to get from the US? A bit closer.

I found this great site that lets you post books you are willing to trade for books you want all for the cost of postage only.

htpp://www.bookmooch.com

You might be able to trade some books you are not going to keep for some of Mr. Lumleys out of print stuff.

i did basically the same thing, but i got half way through and then decided to go back and real the others (im currently reading book 5). you wont have much problem understanding whats going on but when you do go back to the others you may feel like you know too much and they could become predictable. you will still enjoy them but there are twists which you'll see comming

It's never much advisable to do not read a series in a row, I think. :D

$150.00 is high. Keep your eyes open and you can find one for about $80.00

yyiinn, take sdkdmd's advice. Get the 5 Necroscope books and start from the beginning. You won't be sorry.

yyiinn, the series as a whole is kinda broken into 5 parts.

Necroscope-5 books
Vampire World-3 book. which Blood Brothers is the first
The Lost Years-2 books
E-Branch-3 books
The Touch-1 book

Pick up "Necroscope" and try it.

The Necroscope series is known as one of the best vampire series ever.
