I'm so excited, this has finally been released and is available in HMV right now, and I have a friend who works there with a 30% discount!
I loved the Cities of Gold and I can't wait to get it and complete my adult/childhood! I have the box sets of Dungeons and Dragons and Ulysses 31 and have been saying for years all I need is The Mysterious Cities of Gold to complete my top 3 childhood TV shows, now it's within my grasp!
I'm probably alone on this one, the rest of you have grown up like senisble responsible adults - right??!

Loved the cities of Gold but don't think I ever saw the final ones...
Much the same as Ulyesses31 & D&D I never got completion with any of them and a little piece of my childhood is forever missing until I can finally see the finale's.
Now I know D&D never actually did a final episode but do Ulyesses31 & Cities of Gold have conclussions, I'm sure there was an episode of Ulyesses based on the final parts of Odysey where he had to prove his worth by making a shot with his own bow and arrow majiggy, but I thought it still didn't end properly and was un-concluded?
Battle for the planets was one of my personal faves though brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr beep beep grrrww

your childhood reads like mine - how worrying is that?

If the span of your entire young adolescence was a long procession of 14 times a day self abuse (wink wink nudge nudge ;) )
Then it was exactly like mine....

So did The Mysterious Cities of Gold have an ending or not?
I need to know now!!!

I think it did, though I can't be certain as it was many years ago! I think they eventually found the city of gold but can't remember exactly how it ended - I'll let you know when it arrives!
ps, I think Tops was actually very subtle in his reply to your not so subtle reference to '14 times a day self abuse!' Just in case a person couldn't tell from that what you were referring to you added 'wink wink nudge nudge ' to emphasise it was something that could be considered a little risque/naughty etc.

that's for the backup Silver ;)
Pete, you're a bad bad man.
And if you are going to spoile MCOG, can you do it in a new thread, which has the word spoiler in the title please? I don't remember how it ended either!

Does that mean you’re going to purchase the set and watch it yourself or are you just being arsey again about a spoiler for a children’s cartoon that's 20 years old!!!
I mean come on there's not watching the apprentice for a day and avoiding all talk of it and watching it on Sky+ later on but to avoid the ending of a cartoon for nigh on 20 years and then tell people to put spoilers in the appropriate post is just plain lazy, if you haven't seen it so far you deserve to have it spoiled as you obviously didn't love it enough.
:)
I'll gladly let Silver spoil it for me because quite frankly I can’t be arsed buying it after 20 years just to get closure...
As for my subtleness I was pandering to the mentally impaired who may frequent the site and need signs and prodders before they get to what you may be alluding too ;) equal optunities and a level playing field is what I'm all about, if I have one fault it's that I care too much, dam it...

If you have one fault? My friend we all have faults, yours seems to be that you only think you have one!!
There will be no spoilers from me, I'll be receiving it on Monday so if you really want to know Helm I'll send you a pm after then!
