At least for a day or five.
I have finally finished the first draft of my book and needed a break before the rewrite. So, before I retreat back into The Black, I thought I'd pop into The Place of Original Inspiration and see what I could see.
How are things in the Lumlian World?

My band have set out on our path of world domination, starting with the UK. We have conquered London and Glasgow and are planning on the in-between bits in the near future :)

Hey Nath! Good to see you.
Saw Tops get married 3.5 weeks ago and resolved to post here more often.
I guess it's like the tide turning, or lunar phases... "Synchronicity, or Something" (to completely pinch a title). You never know who's going to -wash-up- here next!

Nate! I knew you were still creeping around out there somewhere! Glad to see you still moving on the book. Excellent news.
As for myself, Well, I have recently been promoted to president of a multinational advisory board for the development of digital transcontinental synthetic interaction with inanimate multi-tactile input devices for the advancement of mice...no - seriously. :D Ok, maybe not, but wouldn't that be a hell of a job title?
Same ol' same ol' for me mostly. Just left my current job as they decided to 'punish' me in a lateral move for doing my job and take all of my IT responsibilities away because I was 'more important than just IT and needed elsewhere in the company.' I informed them I really wasn't and was out the door. Long story short - I did my job right (which part of it was to require proper paperwork for purchases) and made one of the owners look like an idiot for not following procedures, for about the 20th time. His ego got damaged in the process and he was not happy. Ah well. Looks like I'll finally have some time off here where I can concentrate on the new look for the site!
Married last year and bought a new (old) house in Fairborn and am in the process of remodeling it, so not a lot of spare time for me since I have been driving over 120 miles a day for my old job. Thank God I don't have to do that anymore.
Good to hear everyone is doing good. I'll try and post more as well.
