I've got it!
Every Friday in my local newspaper ... there is a fella who does a column called "Click." I look forward to his articles every week because they are very interesting.
Basically his latest article spoke on ... browsers ... IE of course and Firefox being the top browsers now with Opera hanging in there.
Although it's a beta version he wrote on Google Chrome. I liked the sound of it so I downloaded it the other day.
I must say I like it very much. Especially when you click on the + and it gives you pictures of previously used websites.
It copied over all my settings from Firefox so that was definitely a plus.
I find that on some websites it expends the width better and doesn't squash the text like Fox. I realize that I can + or - the text size on Fox but I'm lazy ... I want everything immediately.
It really looks great considering I now have a 22 inch screen and it's glass not the textured stuff like the last one.
Some stuff on sites you can't use it for ... like something I tried to do on My Space but if I remember Fox had that problem when it first started. And I do know that even now Fox won't except certain downloads and I have to go back to IE.
Anyway, if you want to give this a try it has a nice look. I do have Opera which I haven't used in ages, but it was a spare. And Netscape which I used to love (Net 8, the stand alone from 7 and the mail) haven't used that one either.
Most of my usage is Fox but I'll be alternating between the two.
