Elite Lumlians have paid the $10/yr subscription to the site. I get the money that comes from the adverts and the subscriptions. No one to date has ever just 'donated' money to the site, but I keep hoping. :) That money goes into hosting fees, my time, forum software updates and those sort of things.

And just FYI - the Google and Amazon adverts don't generate that much money, but every year or so when a check shows up it is a nice surprise.

Those who are elite also started out as newly bitten, barely undead, thrall etc. We all started somewhere.

You can be elite too, all you have to do is pay $10, which I think is really not a lot at all for a full year and it's the only payment Shadoe gets for his time and effort to keep this site running for all of us.

John has it right - $20 gets you two years worth of access. You can do it through the messageboard in your user control panel or you can do it through the store section of the site. I ALWAYS take Bribes. :)
