I've been trying to catalogue my books at Library Thing and thought while I was at it I post some pics of some hard to find books and magazine.

This one I'm sure a lot of you have seen already. A collection of poetry. Ghoul Warning & Other Omens from Spectre Press 1983 only 80 signed hard covers.

http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t302/sdkdmd/Lumley/fffffff028.jpg

Then Ganley and Necronomicon Press released Ghoul Warning & Other Omens…& Other… in 1999. Ganley edition reprints all Spectre edition poetry plus several other poems, new intro, 11 illustrations and 3 stories, 50 words each, which can be found in the Companion

Very nice. It's always good when you see rare, go in the thread and then see books that you also have!

The map is nice though, where did you get it from?

No it wasn't, I definitely didn't get it from a con - I remember it coming in the post and I'm sure I haven't had it as long as KC2. I think it might have been an ebay purchase at one of those rare times when I had a little bit of cash!

I love Dave's work - somehow he makes horror and gore beautiful. The current price for those is very good at the moment - especially for them all! if you can afford it I suggest you go for it - I wish I could afford it!

Though I do have those prints so for me it's not a total loss!

gresb
April 27th, 2010, 01:21 PM
came across them a few years ago on ebay. i enquired about their authenticity from the seller and was told about the leigh blackmore bibliography and how leigh had borrowed these from brian for the book. bidding was low it was an australian item as was the book and leigh also i believe. in fact postage cost me more than the item. i recieved them and asked silky if they were the real thing which she verified. i sent her scans of the artwork and also sent her one of the pictures to keep. i know the bibliography is rare so a lot of you might not have seen this early artwork before so i uploaded them on here for you all to enjoy.

Tried to make the link but failed miserably, but what it was, some one was selling the mass paperback of the newly released Necroscope II Vamphyri for a buy it now price of $99.99. The one that says Special Edition $4.99.

A word of caution to fellow Lumlians old and new, beware of the rip-off's.

But it now at Amazon for £3.25 which is $5-6.
