Hi, All...

Posted this link in the Monthly Update ... http://killercon.com/

Brian is one of the Guests of Honor.

KillerCon Horror Convention
August 26-29, 2010
Palace Station Hotel
Las Vegas, NV

Yee, haw ... I know Allen & Chris Koszowski will be there and I'm pretty sure that Dave & Amber will somehow manage to get there ... right Dave?

Anyway, it will be a great four days ... it will be wonderful if any of you folks can make it ... especially those way out west.

Who Can Make It?

It's always best to give into temptation, otherwise it never goes away. :)

Do you have any idea which two of the four days would be the best to schedule if one were unable to attend the entire convention?

The website's 'schedule' is not very informative...

I would say the best days to attend would be Friday and Saturday. That way you get a two full days of programming and you won't miss the autograph session on Saturday night. And naturally, two good nights in the bar.:)

Depends on how many stopovers, You can get Air France for £597 but 3 stopsor Continental via Huston only for £432. Not bad price on the later but you have to be quick and only one change as well

Continental leaves from Gat or Heath on the 777 which has the best seating space in economy. They go to Houston to Vegas which is about a 3 hour flight. Or Newark to Vegas but that's a 5 hour flight. Both domestic flights are on a 737 which isn't very comfortable in economy. Been there done that. When we go eco we use the Houston to Vegas.

Right now they are less than $600.00 US dollars and here's the link:

Cheers Silky, I'll have a look at that. I might just fly to LA and drive across.

I was thinking about the 666 bit! But it's good to know I can get cheaper flights.
I just booked the hotel, if you put the code in thats on the KillerCon website it doubles the rate :-(
Booked it without the code and saved aload. Actually I didn't save a load as I just got a bigger room for the same money! I'm on the 21st floor now!

You bet your arse you two had better show up now!

Ah, what you need is a Shelby Mustang, a full tank of gas and no Police! I'll probably fly direct and not worry about the car though!

Hotel and flights all booked so I'm a definate. I'm arriving on Wednesday 25th and leaving on Tuesday 31st.

For anyone going whenyou book a room don't use the code provided by Killercon. I put it in and the room rate went up by about 50%! I booked it without the code and got a great deal.

Yeah, we just checked out the room rates - if you book 60 days in advance online you get 40% off, but of course the reservation can't be canceled if you book it online.

It is tempting to get the suite room - we can stay for a week in the tower suite for only like $340! Or go on the cheap and get a regular room for only $150 for the week. Decisions, decisions....

Oh - and the con code jumped the rate because it went past the Sunday night when the Con ends. Ours did the same thing - Monday night was going to be $300 alone! Just need to figure out if it will be an issue to get out there with work... Planning on it though. :)

Yeah, I went for a suite in the end. It's still cheap compared to other places and I'll have a bit of room for a change.

Damn ... we don't want to miss out ... I've contacted the organizer to see where he's putting us ... Brian wants a suite ... he's only got a few days to get back to me before I contact him again. I have been told though that they are very slow with getting stuff up on the site...

Hey ... if I make any boo boo typos here ... excuse them ... I'm sitting in the Presidents Club at Newark Airport two finger typing on a tiny Netbook keyboard ... going down to visit mom for 10 days...
