NOTE TO REGULAR MONTHLY READERS: Additions or changes in blue.
NOTE: Always check Brian’s Area Messages/Breaking News as there may be something there that is not in the monthly update. There are cases where you will see for example: August/September update … but if I have additional information I will also do one for September alone … like this time around.

WHAT’S IN THE WORKS: (Please keep in mind that items are always subject to change.) Once I have an actual publication date an item will move up to the Publications section.
Apparently the reissue of the first four Necroscopes in the new jackets have done very well. Three of the books in the special editions have sold out. TOR will be reprinting more but they will be at the regular price. They are also talking about reissuing Deadspawn and The Vampire World Trilogy in rejacketed editions as well. It looks like TOR have decided to do away with the Eggleton jackets and keep the new ones.
The Very Best of Best New Horror. edited by Stephen Jones. Story will be No Sharks In The Med. As soon as I have a publication date you’ll find it here. Here is a link with book info: http://www.stephenjoneseditor.com/forthcoming02.htm

Necroscope the movie. http://www.evolvingpicturesentertainment.com/ Anything substantial happens … you’ll find it here. Things are moving along on this … we’ll have to see how it goes. It has now been optioned for it’s fifth year.
APPEARANCES:
March 25-28, 2010. The World Horror Convention, Brighton, UK. This will be run by Stephen Jones who many of you know. This will make a great meet up over here for all the KeoghConians. Allen & Chris Koszowski, Bob & Marianne Eggleton, Dave & Amber McDougle, W. Paul Ganley and his wife Terry and Nick Austin, Keith Thomas and Sarah Denyer-Radford and Andy Rixon. Hail, Hail the gangs all here! http://www.whc2010.org/ This is shaping up quite nicely. All the memberships are sold out and so are all the rooms for the three convention hotels. There’s going to be loads of folks coming from the USA and there will be more than 400 people in attendance. Whew, that’s a lot of money to be made in the bars on booze.;)
KillerCon Palace Station Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. August 26-29, 2010. Brian has a guest of honour slot. http://killercon.com/. We are really looking forward to this. Allen and Chris Koszowski we know will be there. Possible Dave and Amber McDougle and whoever else can join us there. Looks like being a great weekend. I’m going to schedule two readings for Brian and it’s possible he’ll do a question and answer session as well. This is just in preliminary stages at the moment so we don’t know the timings for it yet. Hey, Palace Station Hotel even has a shuttle that takes you down to the strip every night. We’ll make sure we don’t miss out on that.
