Can anyone help me find out if my book is a 1st edition?
Thanks :)

If you have a first edition, on one of the pages at the front (usually the very first page with writing on, it but not always) there will be a sequence of about 10 numbers. If it's a first edition the last number will be 1. This is the best way to check.
Also, if it's not a first edition it will often say on that page somewhere "first published in 1998 by whatever publisher" or something like that.
Occasionally they are very good and do actually write on that page that it is a first edition - but not very often!

Ok I've had a look and both books start with 10 going down to 1, niether say they are first editions.

Sounds like they are then, congratulations! As I said it won't always say it's a first, only sometimes.

Cool thank you for your help :)
I'm still not sure as they were really quite cheap (under £10 each), They are the lost years volume 1 and 2 hard cover.
