no you're not that good yet (you'll see why tongue.gif )... it depends on what you mean by R'lyeh, how you spell it (a very important factor), and which version of the mythos you're talking about ;)
My question about this, is are you talking of the appearance of it in House of Cthulhu?? Because it was sunk eons ago by a configuration of the stars, only for it to rise a certain times, and then it would sink again.
Your question is ambiguous as R'lyeh has risen a few times over the years, with the help of Derleth, Derleth/Lovecraft and Lumley.

I remember a short story - The Fairground Horror I think - where there was a priest of the Great Cthulhu with a conch-like symbol in his forehead... Only book I can think of (aside from the ones in the Titus Crow series) would be Demogorgon but its been a long time since I read that...

Brians son, Richard, who without his fathers knowledge saved the poetry, and some stories, that Brian had screwed up and thrown in the bin.
When Brian came to have Ghoul Warnings published he thought he did not have enough content until Richard showed him the items he had "saved"
Hence: "For Richard. For saving them"

I think the winner was Fritz Lieber with Belsen Express.
He found out when he was given a copy of the '86 WFC program containing a history of WFC and saw it had been nominated back in 76
