Greetings
HellBoy
I did enjoy the film and the story was full of one line humor as well. I think it has many Cthulhu over tones and when I saw the film the first time I felt I was watching parts of a HP Lovecraft movie.Cute special effects as well
I have just read another of HellBoy's novel called:
"On Earth as it is in Hell"
It is enloyable

I think the only person who could really answer that question would be Mike Mignola smile.gif

I think it's well known that Mignola is very influenced by lovecraft and general mythology. I'm a huge fan of the comic from which hellboy originally comes. The main arc is very much to do with a return of lovecraftian old gods. But Hellboy encounters and usually kills all manner of mythological creatures. Werewolves, Vampires the russian witch Baba Yaga(who survives minus an eye) and numerous others. I love it and the art is tremendous.
