Hi everyone, i'm a newbie. Got a question regarding a coven of vampires. I recently saw this on ebay being sold by Silky and the item description mentions the book having missing text. I have two copies of this book,(the paperback, and one copy does indeed have the missing text and the other doesn't. Anyone else have this? Is it rare? Worth more than the complete one?

Also, are corrected proof books collectable? I have a Brian Lumley one, thinks it's a dreamland one, can't rememer.

Anyway, any help would be great and this is a fantastic site,

Oddity.

Hi,

I have 2 copies of Coven of Vampires myself, the US hardback, which is complete, and the UK paperback, which I is missing some text. I believe that text is available somewhere on the site, well it was 5 years ago!

As for ARC copies, they can be collectable, but only to the right people. They can often be seen popping up on ebay.

Dunno if I've helped you, hope so.

Seaham eh, I have friends in Seaham, one of them used to be a member of the board also!

Seaham... I'll be driving (or rather, being driven!) through there this weekend. I'll give a general wave in your direction smile.gif

Y'know, I've read Coven of Vampires umpteen times (umpteen... great word!) and never noticed the missing text!

I don't think he would of relisted it, at lease right now at a lower price. I know he paid twice the cover price for it and cover was 360.00 i think.
